Length and width were good, but the lining felt lumpy under the ball of my foot. And for the price, the workmanship should be better, notably the stitching on the straps.

I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 wide in a sandal (Clarks always fits perfectly), but since this one doesn't come in half sizes, I went with the 9. Too big. The color is nice (deep blue), but they looked really clunky. On the other hand, I could tell the footbed would be very comfortable if you got the right fit. If you just want comfort, these might do it for you.

These shoes are absolutely gorgeous..And the fit was perfect. The sole of this shoe is so slippery I could not walk on them. It's really a shame! For the price they should have better soles.

Wow for the money I would have expected better. I could not get the strap around the back of the ankle to close. I am a 7WW and I found them to be like walking on concrete. Sorry not for me.

I am usually between a 5.5 and 6 W or WW, so I ordered both a 5 and 6. The 6 was too big; the 5 was okay lengthwise, but the sole curved up uncomfortably under the balls of my feet rather than creating something my toes could "grip" like Birkies. Ended up returning both pairs.

I would say I love this sandal except for the squeak that has never diminished over time, and the ridge in the bed of the shoe that doesn't hit the space between my toes and metatarsals well. Otherwise, I'd have loved these shoes.

Not the cutest, and as another reviewer noted, the top straps are extremely hard, rigid and painful. They kept rubbing the top of my foot (I have high arches) so back they go!

These are wonderfully made shoes. I however wore them without socks and the shoes rub across the top strap. The size is correct but the material that touches the skin is very hard and sharp.

This sandal has great support and is very comfortable but I was disappointed because I bought it for a sandal to wear when traveling and doing a lot of walking and when it is hot out the strap rubs on the top of my foot. I was hoping as they got broken in that it wouldn\'t happen any more, but it continues to be a problem. They are great if I am wearing them indoors in air conditioning or on a day when it isn\'t hot, but they don\'t serve the purpose for which I bought them.

Very cute shoes but the insole foam started Bunching up under the ball of my foot after the first wear and causes discomfort.

Aravan was always a favorite for fit, style and comfort. Not true for this shoe. Disappointed.

The shoe was perfect. I have several pairs. Unfortunately the tip of the right shoe crumbled and exposed the underlying structure. The tip of the left shoe had a crack in it that did not bode well for it performance. After contacting Zappo's and explaining the problem, I was advised to return the shoes and sent, via e-mail, a label for the box the shoes came in. I dropped the box in a UPS mailing bag. That's all there was to it. I ordered a new pair just like the one that I returned and expect to receive them on Friday or Saturday without cost to me for the mailing. It was one of the easiest returns I have ever experienced. If the second pair of shoes are perfect, I will return to Zappo's in the future for the quality of its merchandise and its return policy.

These sandals were like walking on plastic bricks. The soles are a weird hard plastic, and the linings have no arch support or cushioning to speak of, nor do the straps have any flexibility.

These just fit weird: too narrow in the toes, but couldn't get the straps tight enough in the heels. The material was hard, which digs in uncomfortable, and the soles were an odd hard plastic, almost like play shoes. I don't know what Aravon was thinking here. Definitely not worth the price tag.

They didn’t work for me. Although I like having the Velcro adjustability, and the straps were comfortable, the shoe was more narrow than most mediums I’ve tried — too narrow for my foot. And the overall look is rather bulky and clunky.

The sandals were true to size and with the adjustable straps they did fit my narrow feet...but, they did not feel good on my feet. They were not comfortable and they were not very stylish. I was willing to forgo the style if comfort was there...but it was not. I felt that they were not worth the price for a pair of shoes that I did not like that much!

Terrible quality! The pad that goes inside the shoe was too big in one and was sticking out on the side, you could see the pads sticking from the shoes not completely getting inside the shoes. Returned them to exchange for Clarks.

First of all I have worn Aravon Katy's for years and absolutely loved them until I purchased this pair. My black pair I got 5 years ago was exceedingly comfortable and I could and still can walk several miles in them. Three years ago I purchased a navy blue pair and again, a very comfortable shoe that I have worn again and again. It is hard to believe that this shoe is even made by Aravon. First of all the top strap is way too tight and no, my foot has not grown since I bought them. Secondly the material in the sole is different from the other shoes and not at all comfortable. I got a blister the first time I wore them for only about an hour. I tried to wear them again tonight and again got a blister on both the top and bottom of my feet. The area on the side of the shoe also pinches your foot. I should have returned these but I didn't wear them right away thinking they would be exactly like my other two pair that I love. When I put them next to my black and navy pair I can see that they are made differently with sub standard material. What happened to Aravon? Did they sell the company of something? A complete rip off for the money. I am sad to say I recommended this shoe to two friends going on cruises and they bought them and hated them. I couldn't figure out why until I put these on again today and after only an hour I have blisters.

I wore these shoes about 4 times. They were so beautiful the first day. They very quickly looked liked I'd worn them everyday for about a year. I'm super disappointed because they were so pretty the first week. I don't know if it was a flawed shoe, poor materials, or just bad luck but these shoes are not meant for anything but sitting around. I wish I could return them!

I bought two pair of the Katy sandals last year, loved the fit & style, but the navy ones faded to grey-blue in a few months & had to be discarded. Shoes this expensive should hold up better!

I believe my pair was defective. On the left sandal, the heel strap was only just able to catch the velcro. (No problem at all on the right.) Since this was the most expensive of the bunch I was trying, that clinched it as a return. Otherwise, very nice sandal -- very comfortable and supremely adjustable (with the velcro attached to the right spots).

I was not happy that there was a big dirty smudge on the toe end of the left sandal. I had reordered these sandals because the previous pair had the left sole coming loose from the the innersole. So neither pair was in good enough shape to keep. Too bad since they were really comfortable. The quality was just terrible for the price.

I bought these for a spring trip to the America Southwest, hoping they would be good walking sandals. They were pretty comfortable at first. The problem was that the soles completely shredded after 4-5 days of wear. They were falling apart as I walked. I had to stop and by a pair of shoes at Wal-Mart along the way to replace these. I didn't have enough room in my luggage to hang on to ruined shoes, or else I would have asked Zappos.com for a refund when I returned home. If you are considering these for any kind of serious walking, please move along to another brand, if possible. I was very disappointed in the quality for how much they cost.
