I have an extremely difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable and fit my odd shaped feet. I try on hundreds of pairs before I find one that I will be able to wear every day. I found these in a store and tried them on and was amazed at the comfort and support but they could not order my size. I am so grateful to Zappos for finding these for me and giving me pain free walking forever if they keep making this shoe. Unfortunately they have already discontinued the blue nubuck version and I am praying they will make it again. My heels are so narrow that even with velcro straps I cannot get them tight enough. This is a great design for people whose feet swell like mine do also because you can adjust the strap over your instep and around your ankle. Please find me a pair in the blue nubuck!

An awesome shoe! This shoe is extremely comfortable and soft to wear. Three places to Velcro and adjust the fit. I gave 3 stars for style just because they are more comfortable than stylish.

They are nice and comfortable. Too bad they are one size larger than marked.

The Aravon Katy is my go-to summer sandal. For people with low arches, it provides stable foot and ankle support. It\'s attractive and trendy looking while allowing me to walk with comfort. I hope that Aravon keeps up the good balance of comfort and support that they\'ve achieved with this shoe.

Excellent, comfortable sandals. I bought these after a long walk in other shoes that left my soles on fire and my toes aching. I am very pleased with this purchase. Only one tiny hot spot at the top of my foot, but otherwise super comfortable right away and nice to look at. No squeak either, so either I got lucky or the manufacturer has addressed the problem noticed by other reviewers.

Great walking sandal! They are lightweight and the velcro adjustments are so useful to adjust the shoe fit during a long day of walking. Arch support is excellent. There are two problems I encountered: 1. They "squeak" significantly while walking. 2. As they get older, the black inner lining comes off on the feet.

Hold out for the right size - I usually buy my shoes from Zappos. Last summer Zappos didn't have the Aravon brand yet. I needed sandals to accommodate my orthotics. Our local store carried Aravon Katy. Their shoe repair guy said he would customize the fit. So. I bought the 8WW Katy locally. I needed the double wide in front. That worked great. But, the strap that adjusts across the instep was pulled as tight as it would go; but was still too big. I asked my shoe repair guy to adjust it. But he didn't listen. He shortened the end of one strap. Now I have expensive sandals that slop around my ankles when we dance (which gives me scary footing). Once they're customized; they cannot be returned. I should have held out for Zappos and kept trying to get the right size...rather than having them repaired. Foot pain is becoming a thing of the past with orthotics and fashionable shoes that accommodate them...when they are needed at the right price. Yes, we deserve a perfect shoe store...and, soon, Zappos will be it!!!

I really wanted to keep this sandal, I like the looks of it and they do fit my foot. But there is some type of metatarsal bump that makes my feet hurt so sadly I have to return them.

These sandals had a small defect in the sole of the shoe. They ran very narrow in the widest part of the shoe, and I Had ordered a D. I have bought three other sandals of this brand and loved them. I was disappointed that these didn't work.

This sandal was much longer than my foot, so it must go back. I wear a 12, and I noticed that the European sizer was 44. Normally a 12 is a 43, so I think that explains the length.

This was my third Aravon and was so happy to see the navy. Unfortunately, the strap at the ankle is much shorter than on the other two styles that I love. I usually wear 12 WW and love the ability to adjust in all areas, but this ankle strap was almost two inches shorter than expected which exposed the velcro and was still tight. I ordered an 11 WW and 12 WW as I have had room with the open toe and hoped the larger size would give a longer strap, but that was not the case. Returning with a smile because of Zappos great customer service and return policy. I will find something else. Thanks, Zappos!

I loved my first pair of Aravon Katy sandals, bought several years ago, and wanted to have a new pair as a back-up and ultimately to replace them, just in case Aravon stopped making this style. The new pair looked identical to my old pair, but when I tried to put them on, it was impossible to slide the main strap out far enough to get my foot in easily. It would only release about an inch. What a disappointment!

I ordered a size 10 wide and the sandal was a least a half size longer. The shoe was very wide for my foot.

I'm a size 8.5-9 in a sandal, with a very wide toe box and flat feet that require arch inserts or orthotics, so I need a double wide. In a sandal with velcro straps, this means the straps over the toe box have to close securely. I've sometimes been able to lengthen the area where the closure is by gluing a strip of same-size, same-color velcro, and I'd be willing to do that with these because the navy sandal has a beige sole (doesn't show slanting toes as easily), and those aren't always easy to find. However, the size 8 I ordered is a half-size larger and looks more like a 9 or 9.5, and Aravon doesn't make these in half-sizes. I considered ordering the next size down, but given the disproportionate length of the 8, I'm sure the 7 would be too short and probably the straps wouldn't overlap enough. So I'm returning these and giving up on this sandal. I regret having to, but a hundred and forty bucks is too much to pay for a good sandal that doesn't fit. Message to Aravon: start making the Katy sandal in half-sizes (or even better, a size that resembles the length it's usually supposed to be), and I'll be back.

Beautiful sandal! However here's a warning: if you replace the insole with your own orthotic it may not fit well. Also, the sole is slippery.

If at first you don't succeed......I tried the D and it was not wide enough despite having several pairs of the same style and size in my closet! Tthe DD was so wide that I could not tighten the heel strap tight enough. Aravon needs to add more velcro to all of the straps to make this sandal a better fit.

Still very comfortable which is why I kept them. Unfortunately, there is a definite downgrade in quality. The insole is no longer leather but synthetic fabric with a nasty chemical smell. I fear this won't hold up well and worry about how sole will react with sweaty feet on these very hot days. Aravon has been the standard for quality and comfort in my eyes but I see they've begun to cut corners. So disappointed!

These are comfortable, but not all that flattering to the larger foot. The real negative was that the soles were quite slippery on both carpet and tile underfoot - rather odd for such a casual shoe. They could have been sanded for better traction, but for the price, I do not think that should be necessary.

These sandals look nice, but there is little support. For a few dollars more, choose SAS tripad Cozy.

I love these shoes but unfortunately, I have to return them. The straps are too short. I wish the straps were extended with sections of leather so a section could be cut off which wasn't needed, but enough strap was there to cover all the Velcro. Uncovered Velcro gathers lint, etc., is hard to remove and looks terrible.

I really wanted to love this sandal but there was one fatal flaw that forced me to return in. The back strap was too short and the velcro didn't wrap far enough back for the amount of ease I needed. Consequently, every time I took a step it felt like the strap was going to crush my Achilles tendon on my right foot. I am really sad the Keri's were discontinued. I wore my last pair out and really wanted another pair! Aravon is a great shoe and I own several other styles but alas, this one just didn't work out.

Initially I thought it was very comfortable, however I wore them around the house last night and discovered that the arch support is too far forward for my feet. So, for my feet there was no support. That bums me out because I love the style, material and the navy color.
