This shoe's usual fitting description was fine but, because I have a long arch and my right foot is a bit longer than than the left, the ridge that should hit just under the toes hit my right foot at the front of the metatarsal, which wasn't comfortable. Otherwise, I think this shoe would provide good support. I wear a 12N/M. The color, bronze, is very dark and almost looks chocolate.

This is a supportive sandal which is hard to find especially for narrow widths

Good quality. I'm on the hunt for some shoes for my Mom who has problem feet due to rheumatoid arthritis. Her feet are different and her bones are severely shifted, so it's taking a bit long to find something that will accommodate. We waited for months and months for a custom shoe and in the end and a few hundred dollars later, they did not work out. Style is not so important, but I do want her to feel good and these shoes may due the trick. Thank goodness there are many widths, we'll keep trying until we get it right. Thanks zappos for carrying shoes like this for those with difficult to fit shoes.

There are two bumps under the footbed material making them uncomfortable when standing. Maybe theyre just meant for a great deal of walking. Also, the straps are too short especially the instep and heel straps. I do have a very wide toe box so need more strap there also

The sandals fit well but they were not comfortable near a problem area on my foot. They are not bad looking, either, although I didn't love the look.

I wanted a velcro closing, low heeled sandal in blue. These go with both darker and lighter clothing and look reasonably attractive. This summer with all the humidity, I am going for softer uppers and this shoe has very flexible straps, all adjustable which works well as I have wide feet but narrow heels. My one issue is that on the right shoe, the top strap has an uncomfortable seam that is irritating my foot. It would have been great to avoid seams in the strap. I hope it will work itself out as the rest of the shoe, particularly the sole is super comfortable. I wound up exchanging for a size smaller than usual, from 7ww to 6 ww. I might even fit into the next size down but don't want to give up the width. All in all, a great balance between style and comfort.

There was an adjustment needed with the heel, that didn't work out.

I have several pairs of the same sandals and the same size so I was thrilled to find them in navy, a hard color to find in sandals! I love these sandals because all of the straps are adjustable and most of all because the footbed is easy to remove. My orthotics fit fine, but the front of the sandal was not wide enough. If Aravon is reading PLEASE change the design of the velcro/hook and groove connecting the footbed to the sandal. The prickly side of the velcro is left on the bottom of the sandal when the footbed is removed and this eats into the orthotic. This causes erosion of the orthotic which is expensive to replace. Please consider changing the design so the smooth part of the velcro remains on the sandal when the footbed is removed. Thanks!

Not the sexiest shoe on the planet but probably one of the comfiest ones! I have walked many miles in these shoes and they are by far the most comfortable sandals I own. I've even gotten them wet and they're still in great shape. Nice neutral color goes with any outfit. Super adjustable. I usually wear a WW and these worked great for me.

Firstly I want to say how much I love Zappos. Shipping policy, return policy, refund policy - they can't be beaten. As far as these sandals go, they're my 4th pair. The soft footbed becomes hard over time so I just reorder. I have problem feet, and the fact that I can get a double EE fitting with adjustable straps, is great. In the photo, the taupe leather looks sort of 'cream-ish'. They aren't. But they're comfortable and I might just find some leather dye to change them up a bit.

I wear an extra-wide; have plantar fasciitis, flat feet, and heel spurs. I love the adjustable straps, which allows one to fit one's actual width, though the ankle straps are big. (Many 'extra wides,' in my experience, assume that one has deformities or swelling.) They are comfortable, but very expensive - there are shoes at half this price that are available in 4E, and have adjustable straps. Padding of the sole is good, and the open heel, with a strap rather than 'clog effect' (unsuited to me), take some of the strain off of my heels, reducing pain.

I have bad feet and collapsed arches, one foot overpronated badly These are Very comfortable on your feet but the sole is slippery when walking. I am using them as slippers since when I go out I have to be in sturdy stable sneakers with orthtotics. EE width is nice and wide for my EE feet! These do stop me from overpronating, the only sandal I have tried that does so. That's a big plus! I don't use my orthotics in these though these sandals don't seem to have much arch support Half sizes Order a half size down. I originally went a half size up and they were too big. If I can get used to the slippery sole, I'll order another pair

Very comfortable style, nice neutral color, but the strap over the ankle is too short. I bought the 10WW. I tried on the 11W at a local store before deciding, and it was too short, too. I have these in other colors, and although it is short, I can still make them at least close! Perhaps it is just the light colors. I have worn my blue ones and black ones for years.

This is a nice shoe. However the foorbed is not as supportive as previous Aravon shoes I have owned - it's too squish for me. And it does not have any arch support.

I absolutely loved these shoes when it came to style and comfort. I dropped the star though because the bottom/sole of the shoe was very slick and I was afraid I'd slip and fall in them. I compared them to other shoes I have, walking on my hardwood floors, and none of my other shoes were slippery at all and yet these practically slid out from under me. Why did you do this, Aravon? I loved these shoes but I had to send them back.

I wish the manufacturer ensured that the inside of the ankle straps did not rub the skin, otherwise the shoe would have been perfect.

I bought these because I discovered Aravon is made by New Balance, Overall comfortable basic sandal. Nothing fancy -- but useful for everyday. Should look okay with skirts and pants. Decent support with soft footbed. Can adjust fit in three places, which is great if your ankles are small relative to the front of your foot (or vice versa, I guess).

These sandals were very comfortable right out of the box. I have narrow feet and they fit well (adjustable straps times 3). They are very sensible shoes - no glamor, but suitable for work or daily activities. I wear a 9 1/2 to 10, and bought a 10 and they are a good length.

These fit well but their look is very functional; not the cute walking sandals I was hoping for.

I am still "on the fence" about these sandals. The arch support is lacking. The straps are too long and will probably stretch. I usually wear a medium and decided to try an 8 narrow. They are somewhat better. I will eventually put a small gel insert under innersole to add arch support and also add for the lack of Velcro and the too long strap closest to the ankle. The shoe is made well. I am tired of researching great arch support and short enough straps. These seem to be okay, with some additions by me. Zappos is the best. Thank you.

I ordered these shoes to wear at home during the summer. They are very pretty and comfortable but I don't think I will be able to do my housework in them. They don't have the support I need in a shoe that I wear all day. I did keep them as I will wear them when we go out to eat and to church.

These are very nice looking rugged summer sandals. Unfortunately the straps were too long and I could not tighten them enough. When will shoe manufacturers learn that a wide foot does not mean a fat foot? I am reordering in a regular width and hope that it is the better choice.

The sandals run about a half size longer than size indicates; also, they make your feet look big and a bit clunkier than other sandals -- part of this is the contrasting beige lining (which also shows dirt). Though these are comfortable sandals and well-made, I don't really like them.

Not as great as reviews suggest. straps are stiff and rub no matter how many times I adjust them.
