Yellow is dull not like the pictures online! The shoes look old and used. There are a lot of "protruding stuff" inside the shoes (bad craftsmanship?) that actually hurt your feet before even starting walking. Very disappointed! Returned.

This shoe is too stiff and it is hurting the top part of my feet. Too bad since the shoe looks nice.

The laces are are stationary, therefore I was unable to tighten them. Never before have I seen something like this..

Shoes arrived and all was in good condition. I walked on clean carpet in my home with these shoes. For some unknown reason, the left shoe seemed to press on my big toe. This caused pain. I tried several different pairs of socks, but had large toe pain with all. I have returned the shoes for a refund.

I thought I had purchased a men's shoe. It was that big. But no the women's size is completely off. I have another pair of Rockport XCS which I love. Too bad they are irreplaceable.

I ordered a 10 1/2 wide, and it was still too tight the sizing runs a little small.

My son's heel slipped too much and the shoe was fully laced, had some dirt on the suede and there is a bend on top of the tongue where it would occur while walking. They looked previously worn, not clean.

Had to return them as I wasn't used to such a high heel in sneakers before. That made for less support in the back of the heel, with my foot slipping up and down when walking...

Too wide for my foot. And heavier, like a trail or trek shoe. Stiff too. but nice that it was waterproofed.

I've owned several pairs of Rockport, and this is by far the least comfortable pair I've owned. I've worn size 12M for decades, but these shoes are too loose. Purchased some insoles to try to correct. My work boots feel better than these shoes, though they seem to be well made and resist dampness. I'll stick with walkers from Rockport but no more hikers.

Probably a good shoe for a pointy foot. The toe end is narrow and does not fit a wider, squared off toe area. I didn't wear the shoes, so I can't comment on the overall shoe, just wasn't for my wide foot.

I will withhold judgement until they are broken in. Right now, both heals are loose.

I bought these last fall to wear as casual year-round every day shoe. They are quite comfortable but over the winter I mostly wore boots. Today (June) I was wearing them when they I got caught in a quick shower. These are the second least water resistant shoes that I have ever owned. I could feel every drop of water that hit the toe box, spray right through onto my socks. My feet were soaked simply walking to my car. No, I was not stepping in puddles. Water hit the nylon and sprayed through like water hitting a window screen. At least they are comfortable on sunny days, but that is not why I bought them.

Great style & fit but not waterproof as advertised... the first time I wore them in the grass, wet from the morning dew, my socks were soaked... and the waterproof feature was the reason I bought these... I emailed the company & yet heard back from them

I haven't worn the shoes after trying them on. They are too wide for me. I would rather have something else.

I have worn these regularly for some months now, but two fundamental flaws became apparent within a couple weeks:
1. The eyelets for the laces are sharp-edged metal. They have easily chewed through three pairs of laces (those they came with and two sets of extra-strong laces I bought on Amazon). Very annoying. I don't think I wear my shoes unreasonably tightly, either - this is sort of absurd.
2. Whatever the heel of the shoe is made of seems to be fabric over plastic, the plastic of which only rises to a midpoint halfway up the back of the heel. I seem to have quickly worn through the back there, to find the plastic digging into the back of my foot. I had to purchase heel inserts and am now on my second set of those, too. (Note that I do tend to wear shoes down in the heel more than other people.)
Otherwise, the fit was fine and they are comfortable enough for walking/moderate hiking. They have done fine in rain. They look acceptable for relatively casual office wear, as well. Just expect to spend additional money on replacement laces and any other comfort inserts.

Biggest problem with this shoe were the eyelets. I couldn't pull the laces through with the shoe on to adjust the fit. Otherwise this shoe might have worked.

Nice show but sewing blemish. One seam on the inside of shoe seems to be sewn incorrectly, so had to return them. Otherwise looks like a nice shoe.

Stiff and doesn't have right sole for my foot. I've been looking for xcs like the originals I had and this doesn't cut the mustard.

Tried this in size 11, was way too big. Returned and ordered 10.5 and was tight. I have several other Rockport styles with no fit problem. Not sure what the issue is. Returni g these for credit.

good looking shoes. I ordered a wide size. The box said wide but the shoes were regular width. Contacting the company was worthless. Used to be my favorite shoe company.
