The shoe is stylish and seems true to size. Comfort is good. I would suggest a different style of eyelet- to make it easier to tension the laces without damaging them- and a bit more cushion in the sole, for those of us who have to replace the insole with a full orthotic.

Style and make are right on point. Width was overstated and undersized. Dig the support and light but heavy structure design. Color is awesomely set. Already Look dirty so I dot have to worry about getting them dirty and feeling bad, unique.

Heavy but structurally strong. Like a shoe, break in time a week. Great slip resistance. Not running sneakers. Water proof. Good looking

Much stiffer than I expected (Maybe they will soften a bit after wear) but a very solid shoe/Trekker. A bit hard now to tighten shoestrings but hope that will change. I have worn them for two weeks at work where I am on my feet a lot and am sure I am going to like them even more as I break them in. I suggest getting insoles for a softer walk. Really good shoe and yes, the waterproofing works well. Happy with my purchase.

I like them! They seem to be well made, but they run big! At least in my case...I should've ordered a half size smaller.. Don't know if they can be exchanged.. I would recommend these to others.

I want to give these a 5 but there are a couple of things lacking. Overall, this is a quality walking shoe. The heel cup is a little wide and I have to really tighten them up when I wear them. The are comfortable and great for walking 5 or more miles. I'm really happy with the look and weather performance.

Definitely "water tight." Great for walking the dog in Michigan weather.

Someone said that the shoes were a tad smaller than the size ordered. I agree. They do run a tad smaller. I usually wear 9W and I ordered 9.5W and they are indeed tight. Also, my left shoe was used. The right was not. How can I tell? there is a stain on the shoe, but I will clean it off if I can. The first day I wore the mustard yellow shoes I had three positive comments.

Soles are a little stiff and the laces don't slide through the loops very easily - you really gotta yank on the laces to tighten. I considered sending them back except they fit good, have decent arch support and I like that they are waterproof. I hope the laces loosen up some so I can tighten more easily.

The shoes are very well constructed but not very comfortable.
I gave them 4 stars because they are very sturdy and very well made.

Way to Narrow, only tried one foot on and knew right away that they were not going to fit. Sent them back, so much for trying other brands.

Comfortable, true to size, durability unknown, poor lace eyelets make tightening lower laces near impossible.

Hard to tighten the laces, got a medium width and they are a bit on the wide side. Though nothing is in the tread it always feels like there is a rock that needs to be removed

The shoes felt a little bit heavier than other brands and not as cushionable. They may become fatiguing to walk for long distance. However, the construction is rugged, well made and may be durable. They are waterproof under the rain.

When I received these shoes they had obviously already been worn. There was dried mud on one of the soles, dried mud on top of one shoe, AND, the person seems to have likely sprayed foot powder in both shoes as they both had white spray marks inside.

Very stiff soles. I felt like I was clomping heel-toe heel-toe and did not see how it would get better. Had to buy the M (no W in stock) so they were a little tight for me as well. Returned.

XCSSPRUCEPEAKBLUCHER looks great, but I don't like how stiff the sole is.

They run about a half size large. Also they have stiff uppers and foot beds. I'm hoping they soften over time.

They look snazzy, and I admit it was an impulse buy. I like that they are waterproof, and in the past I've found Rockport shoes to be comfortable. And these may eventually get there, but I've worn them a couple of times, and they hurt my feet, especially my left big toe, which has turf toe (right toe did too until I had surgery on it, the left is next). Not all shoes cause such discomfort, my recent Merrill climbers were comfortable right out of the box, like a running sneaker. But not these, these just hurt. Glad I got them for a good price, because I'm not sure I'm going to be able to wear these very much.

Love - Hate relationship to the shoe. The foot does not sit flat - the heel sits higher than the toes so I feel like my foot is being pressed forward into the shoe. I would need to know how the foot sits in a shoe for future purchases. I do like Rockports but this shoe does not work. Will probably end up donating to the Rescue Mission for one of those guys that need a shoe.

Glad I purchased wide to fit. I wish the laces went up a little more, as they feel loose around my ankles when tying. Overall, comfortable. I'd say they are more for walking paved and flat trails, as there isn't much for grip for hiking hills or in the mountains.
