i LOVE my ecuadors. i have been searching high and low for a hurache sandal that is well made, substantial enough to run around the city in (my days of wearing pavement pounding flat shoes are over) and that are still feminine and not bulky. these are perfect! i normally wear a 9.5, and these felt TTS. can't wait to try more styles from nisolo! so good!

The leather is so soft and the fit is perfectly snug. I imagine they'll stretch just enough. I have found my summer shoe!

Amazing shoes! They a little snug but after wearing them for an hour or so they fit my foot perfectly. So much love for Nisolo shoes!

I love these sandals! The leather is very soft, but the heel is sturdy enough so my feet don't slip out of the shoe. The Ecuador Sandal is so versatile - they look cute with jeans, shorts, and dresses. Also, this sandal has a nice pop of color for spring/summer, but is still neutral enough to go with almost everything in my closet. I always receive compliments from people when I wear these sandals, and I am very eager to buy my next pair of shoes from Nisolo.

I have to say I LOVE my Ecuadors. They were my first Nisolo shoe and I cannot wear them enough. I get compliments on them everywhere and it literally feels like I'm wearing the most comfortable sandal / shoe / slipper of all time. They're great in the summer but amazing in the fall and spring too! Love love love these shoes.

These shoes are so comfortable. This was the first time I'd ever ordered shoes online, and I was a little nervous, because I HATE painful shoes. But these sandals were broken in within a couple of days, and I practically lived in them all summer. I will definitely be buying another pair when the first wear out. I ordered .5 size down, and while they were a little tight at first, they are the perfect size now.

The leather is so buttery soft it is like walking on air, or a soft sandy beach- I love these shoes!...I have recommended them to all my sisters, mom and girlfriends! Order .5 size down though-they stretch to fit your feet

Great shoes! Cute, they go with almost any outfit, and COMFORTABLE. I wore them for 8 hours straight the first time and they didn't feel like normal shoes...no need to "break them in." Bien trabajo!

Really comfortable with soft leather. Haven't stopped wearing them... even in the rain. They are made well and very durable. A little on the narrow side and snug when you buy them but will stretch a little.

Super versatile and comfy - I where these shoes everywhere. They are comfortable for walking and look great with every type of outfit. For the styles with fabric, get a half size smaller even if they feel super tight. The first couple of wears will feel snug, but I promise they stretch to perfectly fit your foot. They are the best!

Unlike other haraches I have owned, this is soft leather and very comfortable. I ordered an 8 although I wear an 8.5. I have narrow feet so they fit well , stretch some. Not mush support. Very good looking.

Like many huaraches, these are best broken-in while wearing them dampened the first few times to allow the leather strips to soften and conform to one's feet. They are very well made and the light color is quite lovely. I found the size to be true and while they are a bit too snug in the toe box for my wide feet, I know they will stretch enough with use to fit me comfortably in a short time. I appreciated the enclosed note and information regarding the people who make these traditional sandals--it's important to know that Nisolo pays its workers living wages above the minimum required. These are my introduction to Nisolo footwear and I look forward to purchasing more going forward!

I love these shoes! I bought the size 9 first and it felt incredibly tight, even thought that's the size I normally wear. So I exchanged them for size 9.5 but over times, those have stretched out quite a bit. I also bought another color, size 9.5 but those don't seem to be stretching as much - yet. Although there doesn't seem to be any arch support in the show, it somehow still feels like it fits my foot well, and I have very high arches.

These huaraches are good looking and well made. It was advised to order a half size smaller. My normal size is 9 so I ordered an 8 1/2, but they were too small/tight. I wore them for a few hours hoping they'd stretch a bit, but no luck. I'm exchanging them for a 9. Hopefully those will work, as they are so nice. Reminds me of a pair I owned 30 yrs ago.

Duplicate review: I received a size 10 instead of 11. The desert rose color is super flattering so I quickly ordered a size 11. I will be sending the size 10 back.

I bought these because they were recommended by Wirecutter magazine, but they don't work for my narrow, low-volume feet. The heel slips off the back, and I found the heel leather to be very stiff and scratchy. It's a shame because these would look good with a lot of summer outfits.
