I could not wait to tell the world what a great experience this was – one, to receive this order overnight! and 2, the excellent overall fit! And the miracle of it all is that it was the last one in stock. Now I wish there were more in other colors! Thank You Zappos! The design of this shoe is perfect, at least for me. The toe of the shoe is designed exactly the shape of my toes and the heel hugs my heels. Having a long and narrow foot makes it very difficult to shop for shoes which explains my joy! And, in time for Christmas Happy Holidays to you and yours.

The straps on these were nowhere near long enough for my high instep.

Good color (mixed grays). Wide wounded toe box, so kind if an old lady look, but run much shorter than average.

This shoe is very comfortable for a job that requires a flat shoe and involves a lot of walking. I thought the arch support was not very good when I first tried on the shoe, but the shoe is very supportive. I got the wide width, which was perfect.

Upon first removing them from the box I was not happy with the mottled look of the sole, it looks dirty along the side with brown speckles in the black sole. Also there is a flaw in the stitching and edge of the leather right in the middle top. They are very comfortable and the strap, while it looks short, fit nicely. The photos here on Zappos don't show that the sole is speckled. I had bought these along with Naot Kirei, these are going back and I'm super pleased with the Kirei's

fit is excellent, really support my arches. the high straps are great for me because the heel doesn't slip--which is often a problem with my narrow heels.

The fit of these is perfect -- I usually wear a 9, and the 9 in these fits like a glove. My feet can slide in and out of them easily, and yet my heel doesn't pop out of the back. I wish they had more padding in the insole. There is some, but not as much as the Roseville slipper style

This shoe is really nice and very reasonably priced, unfortunately, the top of my toe hits the shoes, and I have to return it.

Mary Jane strap is very tight and forward, not near the ankle like you'd expect, slices into metatarsal, not for me

These are nice shoes to wear to work. The cushion support is removable, so I can put in my custom orthotics instead. They are very comfortable either way.

I got these shoes for my difficult -to-please mother and she is over the moon! These are quality constructed shoes and the leather is so beautiful. I really appreciate you as true quality is hard to find at a fair price.

These shoes have a wide toe box, something I need as a broken foot heals. I wear a size 9 medium width. I don't understand arch support, so I make no comment there. By slanting the straps across the foot and adding the extra edging, they look less childish than Mary Jane's tend to. The black ones look far more professional than the two-tone brown ones which are rustic. The leather is soft and I have found that Clarks have some give in them because of the quality of the leather. The strap allows for some personalization in fit, but I have noticed that hook and loop closures that go through a metal loop and then double back have less choice for the fit than those whose strap attaches without a metal loop and so tend have longer hook and loop sections.

These shoes have a wider toe box, with an almost straightish line running from the largest big toe joint out towards the end of the toes. I am recovering from a badly sprained big toe and the PT said aim for a straight line. The leather is very soft, and the back ankle area is nicely padded. I have onky tried them on and not worn them anywhere, but i foresee no problems. The brown two tone has a more rustic look than the black. I like the double strapped look so that this shoe is not exactly like the mary janes worn by children. I do not understand arch support so i cannot comment on that.
