Im a pet sitter and dog walker, Im also incredibly short. Im glad to have found actually well made jeans with real pockets that came in mid rise so they dont come up to my bra, and a short enough inseam to only cuff once. I do wish they came in a short enough inseam to not cuff at all but at least the knees are in the right place! Time will tell if theyre durable enough to not rip at the thighs and knees like my cheap jeans always did, but they sure feel sturdy so my hopes are high. Im generally a 14 and the 14 fit is perfect. Height 50 Weight 165 Hourglass body type Maple and Kuzko featured.

Best denim pants ever!!!

Theyve been working great for doing carpentry, farrier work, and riding horses. My only minor issue is the tags in the front are a little scratchy.

my SO loves them. fit a bit tight around the buttom.

Liked them so much I bought a 2nd pair. I had to size up from what I typically wear. The fabric is sturdy but has very little stretch.

These are the 2nd pair of Maven Slim pants!! My first pair were the nonfade denim and now I have the black pair I love the quality and functionality of them!! I will be purchasing more in the future

Great fit! 3rd try is a charm.. these are fantastic, nice slim fit, they come up a bit higher than the other two I had tried. Perfect length. I love the color and feel. So happy, ordering 2 more.

These are excellent! They move, bend and keep up with me through the day! I sized up in the slim style, just to be sure they would fit how I wanted. And one inseam size longer than typical because of my workboots. Perfect.

I was looking for thicker jeans that wouldn't wear out too fast and these seem like they fit the bill. They also are really comfortable, fit well, and lots of pockets! I appreciate the 28" inseam since I'm a shorty. I wish they were tapered a little thinner at the ankles but maybe that is meant to be for work boots.

I love how these pants fit and Ill wear them around for their comfort, but I bought them so I could slide my knee pads into the opening of the knees. Unfortunately, the slot sits high above my knee when its bent and there is no way Im squeezing a knee pad into the opening as it is only a few inches wide. I purchased the size 2 with a 30 inch inseam. With that said, I will still make another purchase from Dovetail because this is a really nice pair of pant that I can freely move around in. The only reason why I rated them with four stars is because of the knee pad opening. I work on floor installations so keeping my knees protected is important to me.

Lov th fit! Perfect size, waist, length and hips fit very well!

I love the pants and so do all my girlfriends but we all have the same problem.. they slip down and we constantly all have to tug on the belt loops to pull them up? It sure why, but its unanimous with my 4 friends who have them. We love the fit in the leg, but perhaps they are too tall at waist? Fix this and they will be the best pant ever made for working women.

I have only wore them once and everyone at my bocce league night was asking where I got them. apparently they make my butt look amazing. My girlfriends couldn't keep their hands off my cheeks! haha. Great for bending, holding all my things and staying up. I can't wait to wear them when im doing some heavy duty building with tools to hang off them!

A little tighter than I expected but very comfortable

These are great! Im thrilled to find work pants, with pockets, in petite sizing. Id given up on finding any work pants that didnt need the waistband & inseam taken in 2 inches. Things to note: the flexibility in fabric for the maven slim colors is different. I made the mistake of not realizing that these would have much less stretch than power stretch denim. These have less stretch than typical jeans across the thigh from hip to knee due to the pockets. Something to keep in mind when choosing color and size. For reference: Im 52 105ish lbs and the 00/28 fits well. However, you might consider sizing up or going with the power stretch if you plan to do a lot of kneeling or crouching.

I love everything about these pants. I used to wear Carhartt work pants but they ripped way too easily and weren't nearly as comfortable as Dovetail. These fit great through the legs and the waist sits at just the perfect spot (not too high like most pants these days). I'm 5'7'' and weigh 140 lbs and the 6/32 fit perfectly. I tried the Maven X and really wanted to like them but returned them because the waist felt too tight and slightly too high. Dovetail please make the Maven Slim in brown and grey!!

A coworker recommended these pants to me and I love them! Theyre heavy duty with deep pockets. Length is perfect, and next time Ill buy a pair with a higher waist.

These are such high quality pants. They are my second pair and I could not be more satisfied.

At 5'5", 127#, the size 4/30 fits perfect. These mavens are snug, but not tight, and stay up without having to wear a belt. Love the tiny hip pocket for my earplugs! As advertised, these are not lightweight pants. They offer some stretch, but not much, especially straight out of the dryer. Thanks, Dovetail, for a fabulous pair that I will wear for years!

Ive left reviews prior, but I felt like I would show the work these pants are putting in for me. Seems like the pants are failing faster, but I genuinely dont know if its the pants or me. Either way they are my favorite. Lets talk about the pockets; sure sure dovetail prides themselves in pockets, but what the heck is up with other styles having different pockets layouts?! Even the maven slim in no fade canvas has the same layout but the side pockets are shallow I cant keep a GD sharpie in them to save my life. Maven X? Totally different pocket layout. These pants hold up to my brutality; Im not even showing the pairs that I havent yet had to patch and sew back together.
