I have bought the maven slims in their original sizings which have now been "retooled". I also measured myself before ordering just in case. Based on the chart, I purchased the 18 in the black denim and I am "just" able to button them.(Which confused me because I had it stuck in my head that the retooled sizes might be bigger.) I will not currently wear them for work but I am sure they will fit me for summer & fall which is usually when I switch to my 16's. (Winter and Spring is for 18's usually...)

I purchased a size 8, up one size from my usual, and I'm glad I did, but the calves are still a bit tight. I don't have particularly slender legs, though.

Great color, cute modern and comfortable fit. I wouldn't change a thing about them.

I have two other pairs of pants from dovetail so ordered the same size in this pair. These fit very slim in the upper thighs and waist, enough that I thought about returning for a larger size, but my other two pairs of pants from this company are actually very baggy on me so there was a big size difference.

Super comfortable

I own 3 pairs of Dovetail. Love them so much. All are size zero but this slim cut - which, obviously I expect to be narrower in the leg, are a completely different size in the waist. Weird to have to order a size up just for the waist. Ive sent them back for an exchange to the size 2, after which Ill do a follow up review, but really seems like a strange quality control issue. Still - adore my other dovetails- 2 are the lined straight leg and one is the baggier orange canvas. Im a gardening, outdoorsy gal so I need function and comfort but also want to look good- usually hit the mark just not (yet) for this pant.

These are great!!! After two years of near-constant (though light, non-physical labor) wear, I've just re-purchased them. I bought these alongside some of the Heathered slims both times, and I have some observations. The fabric is different between the two; the no-fades have a softer/worn-in feeling than the heathered. They also age differently; the no-fades stretched and softened more than the Heathers. However, I can confirm that there's been basically no Fade. The fit is VERY different. In my original purchase, I got both in a size 8; the no-fades were notably bigger. My recent re-order I readjusted, got the Heathers in 8, the no-fades in 6, and that was a perfect fit. They look great, they feel great, they feel tough enough to take on the task of livin'.

Love them. They fit so perfectly. Theyre tight like skinny jeans but they dont slip down when squatting/bending over. My only minus is that a pair of needle nose pliers poked a couple holes in the bottom of one of the pockets.

I think these pants look so cool, but when I ordered a size 12 they were too small- so I ordered a size 14, and they were too big. Obviously not a good fit for my body, but still very cool pants.

I love these pants so glad I stumbled upon the brand, this is my second pair the first was the Britt style, I like these better the fit is amazing and I get a lot of compliments on them ..the best thing about them tho is the functionality of them they are perfect for my line if work...10 out of 10 would recommend

I really appreciate the pockets as well as the fit.

These are great, except I didn't realize they weren't the Maven X that has an elasticity to the waistband. The Maven does not, which seems like it should be standard. The other pair of Maven X that I own are awesome!

These are great pants, lighter weight than my other maven pants and perfect for spring and summer outdoor work. I love them. They're stylish, comfortable and have all the pockets I need when tending to my florals in the garden and when working in my studio designing (I'm a florist). 5 stars!

I owned my first pair of Dovetails back in the adventure that was 2020. After 3 full years of wearing them often, hard, and putting them through the ringer I knew it was time to snag my second pair. On one hand, they get the job done. On the other, I get compliments each time I wear them.

Really wanted to love them, they fit perfect everywhere except at my waist. The waist was entirely too tight and I could barely get them buttoned. Everything else about them was great.

very tight in the thighs but loose on the waist. kind of awkward wear for someone more curvy

Perfect fit that flatters without pinching or cutting in when bending, kneeling and squatting. They're the only pants I want to wear now!

These are exactly what I was looking for, I had an issue with purchasing the wrong size and their customer service was amazing!! I actually had to exchange twice and it was an easy, fast transaction both times. I own a couple different items from the site and cant wait to purchase more once they come back in stock in my size. Highly recommend!!

I literally just received this pair and put them on, Im beyond stoked! I have such a hard time finding anything to fit as that Im 52 and 89# and straight as a board. I will be purchasing more, my only wish is that the waist be lowered about 1 or 2 inches.

Best pants I own!

I knew these were slim (I have another older version), but these were SO small. I wear a 14 in a variety of other brands, I was so excited for these after some health related issues and I have to send them back. I got a 16 which seemed like it would have a little room. Nope. (I know they're resizing things, so maybe that gets at the heart of this. But they are very slim all the way through, and I found them much less stretchy than I expected. Bummed! I've been so happy with my dovetail before.

So comfortable and so durable! I am a 14 almost every brand everywhere and a 16 in these, you just might want to order up!

This fit great and I can wear them all day! I do need to get them hemmed.
