I have struggled to find the right size in this style of pants. I think the issue for me is I have thick thighs relative to my waist. For almost all other dovetail styles a size 12 fits perfect. For these a size 12 is too tight in the legs even with the stretch so I ordered up to size 14. Its a bummer because of the return fee to get the size right in some of these styles but the pants quality is great, so Im glad Ive finally figured out my sizing.

I own several styles of Dovetails and these are definitely my favorite. Just enough stretch, but stay to form even after broken in. I'm in Oregon and wear these 3 seasons out of the year (then switch to my thermal Britts for the winter months). These are lightweight, sturdy, and perfect for all of my farm chores. Love, love, love.

As a dog musher and owner of 19 dogs these pants are amazing. Tough and durable. Nice enough to look like a uniform and wear out casually.

I have 2 pair of Marvin slims in size 4. The Marvin slim stretch size 4 is way too small. Im returning them for a size 6. Also the length seems to have changed.

After I got over the increase in sizing for Dovetails, my favorite pair is the Maven Slim. So I ordered the denim and the fit is weird. Baggier everywhere especially the leg. Did I get a funky cut pair? The leg openings are wide. It's going to take some 80's style sewing to make them less flare and more slim on the leg. Maybe they need to be washed repeatedly like the "shrink to fits" of my high school days? Did the sizing change? Does every pair fit this radically different based on the fabric? Even the length was way off. About 2 inches longer than my other pair. Not sure what happened. Will wash some more. The pockets however, are always worth it....I wear my Dovetails everywhere.

These are so comfortable and functional -- I wish I could wear them all the time! I have problems with major waist gapping in many other pants, but I don't even need to wear a belt with these.

I purchase a new pair of Dovetail Workwear pants every year and have done this for the last five years. This year I bought two pair/different styles! I cannot say enough about how comfortable, well designed, sturdy and stylish they are and I like supporting companies like Dovetail. Highly recommend and definitely 5-Star!

Definitely good slim fit, the rise cut has improved over my last pair of Maven Slim from 4 years ago. Will probably buy a 2nd pair! Would love these in a lined version!

I'm excited to add them to my collection! I did have to size up in this particular style though. I typically wear a 2 in Dovetails, including the Maven X, but 2 was a bit too snug in these. Otherwise, they're marvelous!

I really do like these pants! I am 50 ft and about 145 lbs . I carry my weight in my stomach so I sized up from my standard size 10 to a 12 and it they are still a little smaller in the waste than I like. Absolutely still wearable but snug.

Work pants that actually fit?! Take notes, Carhartt. The waistband is a bit tight compared to the rest of the pant- the next size up was slightly too big in the waist and substantially too big in the legs. But overall, they fit like a dream.

I really liked these jeans, not just as work denim, but as real, everyday denim-denim. I wish the rise were a bit higher, but the fit really is great.

I bought a size up from the overalls just in case the waist would be tight and it was. I really miss jeans but with my new menopause belly I cant find a pair that is comfortable.

I have one pair that I love with zero complaints, and one pair that I love with one complaint. The size 10s are stretchier and are great. My size 12s I love even more fit-wise and the fabric is a little more structured which I love but I have one compaint about them - they are smelly. None of my other pants (I have at least 4 pairs of Dovetail pants and other work pants) give me any problems, but this one pair of Maven slims I have to soak in a weak bleach solution every month or two or else they smell like they have been sitting in the washing machine for a week (which they haven't). It's weird and annoying, but other than that quirk they are FANTASTIC work pants.

I love these jeans! Very sturdy but fashionable . Looked so cute my husband didnt even realize they were work jeans until I pointed out the pockets and reinforced thigh/knee areas. He immediately told me I should order in other colors too. Win! I will say the waist stitching is a bit irritating at first. I considered returning for a size 6 but I was concerned they would stretch and look sloppy. So I tucked in and after a couple hours of wear the waist relaxed and they felt very comfortable.

Ive been looking for a slim fit carpenter pant to wear for work (Im a male carpenter). Ive tried Dickies, Carhartt and BAD workwear and these Dovetail womens pants fit far better than any of them. Theyre comfortable, durable, breathable, and slightly stretchy. I cant believe it took me this long to find a work pant that fits well and is durable for construction. Ill only be purchasing these pants from here on out. Thank you!

They are comfortable and the fabric is dense and sturdy, love the stretch, and all the pockets. I do wish the phone pocket was on the right where I always reach for it and not under the tool in the leg loop. It runs a bit small (I wear a 0 in Old Navy jeans and a 4 in this one). I could have worn a 2 but they were too tight for me at the waistband. Im hoping they make a high waist version so they dont sag down as I move and they stretch.
