New Balance sneakers typically have some substance to them; they feel substantial in your hand. These sneakers feel fragile and insubstantial. To make matters worse, they're not true to size. I ordered the size I typically wear and got them in wide width for extra measure. They are so narrow that I can't wear them with normal socks or they won't fit. This is not what I expected from the brand, and I am highly disappointed with the product.

Bought a 15 xw. Not enough time room. Other than that they're okay

I wear a size 16 wide so my choices are limited and I try these out and much to my dismay they look great but they have almost no support whatsoever and I need that

Have had tons of NB shoes over the years (4X here), I ordered these because I was lookiing for a shoe where the toe doesn't curl up so much (like my 1080), but these are just not comfortable.

Loved the look and feel. Very comfortable but sole is too noisy (squeaky) on smooth tile floors.

The durability of the shoe seems to be excellent They are the correct length but they definetly are not wide width which makes them a little uncomfortable for my feet as my foot measurement suggests I need a wide width. There is an industry standard for length and width of a shoes. Either they don't follow that standard or I got the wrong pair of shoes. Also the upper edge of the shoe rubs the skin under the ankle when walking and that also starts to hurt. They have only a very thin padded insole. That's great for maximum stability and probablly helps minimize odors, but doesn't feel to great if doing a lot of walking. It really depends what you will mostly do when wearing them on whether they are really good shoe, or not so good shoe aside from the fact the width is too narrow.
I'd also recommend:
I don't shop by brand, but by appearance, features and fit.

Not very comfortable. I’ve been wearing for about a week and they still feel like I’m walking on straight concrete. Back of my heels aren’t feeling to great either.

a very cheap quality shoe, thin materials and no arch support. Unfortunately it was the only thing available to buyers, hopefully they can get in some Asics as they are much better product. I do not expect them to last in an amazon delivery work environment for long.

I wanted to like this show for restaurant use. I ordered x-wide and my pinky toes were still cramped. No arch support, so I put in my own insoles, but my heels started to hurt. Doesn't seem stable either. I felt like I was about to roll an ankle. It seems like an easy to clean shoe around the toes, except for the little vent holes all over the mid and rear.

These shoes have no support. The insole is a thin peice of foam about 1/8 inch thick. They are very hard on the feet.

I bought these for work. When I buy something in a wide, I expect a wide. I am not sure how you can call a shoe wide if it has a tapered toe. They are not wearable all day because of the constriction.

I could tell the shoe you sent was too narrow before I even tried it on. How can u be so lame. The shoe is marked 4E but it is not 4E. It is a 2E. Very very disappointed.

This shoe is not a true 4E or what you would expect the toe box to be for a New Balance shoe. It runs small for what you would consider M size. It gets uncomfortable after a couple of hours. The slip resistance is good.

When someone (like me) orders a 4E or extra wide shoe it is because we need one. It makes no sense to me that you would make a supposedly extra wide shoe with a sharp taper forward of the arch.

The length of the shoe size fits but this shoe is no where near 4E wide. This would be a snug M. If you are looking for a generous toe box, something New Balance has been known for, look elsewhere. I purchased these shoes on my countless past pairs from this brand. At the 4 hour mark at work I need to take ibuprofen or Acetaminophen to get through the last 5. Ouch!

Great shoe. Unfortunately I couldn't use them. The upper part doesn't allow for the wearer to use inserts. When I use my foot inserts there isn't enough room to put my foot in the shoe. This is unfortunate because the shoe is exactly what I was looking forward to. A soft upper that is flexible.
