Ordered the wide couldn't get my foot in! No amount of break in could have fixed it. Other than that, an attractive boot. But alas, it was returned for a lack of function.
And apparently this site won't let any reviewers have the same name.

Got this in in my normal size, medium and wide widths. The wide was nominally wider throughout but still not wide enough in the toebox to be comfortable. They run about a half size big so my heel slipped up in both widths. If the toebox weren't an issue I would've tried sizing down half a size but they just weren't the right shape for my feet.

Java color is very rich and deep, it looks lovely. The boots feel well made. I normally wear an 8 regular but ordered an 8 wide after reading some reviews about the boots being narrow. It didn't help at all unfortunately, and the boots are very tight even when trying on with thin socks. I plan to try a size up (still in wide width) and see if there's any improvement.

Trying to find the right fit with these boots has been difficult I do not like a shoe that pinches too much in the toes but of course the first one that I ordered was very narrow in the foot and toe area so I ordered a wide and a half size up but the wide came in with little improvement in the toe area and way too much space in the ankle to where it was flopping around when I walked. Ordering for the third time in a size up and not a wide

This item is probably true to size, but I purchased size 7.5 when I normally wear size 7, and the boots were too large. I sized up to wear them with wool socks, but even then they would have been too large. I have narrow feet and skinny ankles so the style would not have worked anyway. The boots were very stiff and gaped at the ankles and were unattractive on me. On the plus side, they were nice quality so don't be discouraged by my review if this is the style and fit for you.

I purchased these last year in the fall, they have held up very well. Unfortunately wearing them everyday has lead me to foot pain, even insoles didn't help me unfortunately. Great for a day or so, not so great for an everyday wear item.

I'm sad that these gorgeous looking boots aren't comfortable like the other 3 kinds of great Ariat boots I have. This Wexford boot is very stiff and has very little arch support, making my feet sore. I can't wear them all day, and definitely not to walk my dogs in hilly countryside.

I had bought these boots and really struggled with sizing. I have communicated honestly with customer service to say I have tested wearing the boots 4 times and they are too big despite being a half size smaller than my usual size. There is no ankle support. The boots are immaculate and hardly worn yet they will not accept a return so I can purchase a more suitable size. Considering the price it is disappointing.

I have 3 other pairs of Ariat boots and they are so comfortable!! The Wexford, not so much. I wear them because they weren't cheap.

Beautifully made but unfortunately the sizing was not right fit me. Java is a lovely colour.

A fine shoe, I just wasn’t wild about it. A little too workhorse looking for me. The insole comes out so I was able to use my custom orthotics, which was great.

I tried two different widths. B medium was too tight and C wide was way too large. I'm returning it altogether. Also I wish the shaft height wasn't so high above the ankle, cutting the leg in a weird spot and leaving a poor esthetical appearance.

I was so so excited about these boots, but was extremely disappointed when I realized the stitches are just deceiving decoration, the sole is not stitched on which significantly reduces the quality of the boot in my opinion. In fact, with some wear, the glue holding the sole on at the tip of the toe began to fail. Disappointing quality aside, these boots are extremely comfortable and are waterproof so far despite the quality being worse than expected.

This is a beautiful boot with quality up the wazoo! I. SO wanted it to work for me. But it didn'tthe ankle was tight and the boot felt stiff. I felt like Frankenstein wearing them. I was disappointed in how it did not make my foot which has Neuropathy happy. Such a shame, I love how they look and are made but I had to send them back and return to my less fashionable All terrain boot.

Gosh I am so disappointed in the quality of this shoe for the price. When I initially bought them, the sole started separating quickly and Ariat customer service was helpful in getting it taken care of. I've now worn them exclusively fall/winter for two years and the sole is separating big time at the toe. I wear them around the city, nothing strenuous to them. I've owned many other brands this price and this hasn't happened after longer use. I was so excited to get a pair of Ariat. Would have added a picture if I could.
Sizing is true, when considering I wanted to option to wear thicker socks with them I sized up to 9. Typically I'm between 8.5-9.

I like the comfort of these boots but I bought the black ones and every time I wear them the black rubs off on my socks, my pants, and anything they rub against. I won't buy another pair because they've ruined a good pair of tan pants and a pair of jeans. Money wasted!!

I love the way these look and are generally comfortable for shorter days, but the sole has not held up to use. I needed to put insoles in a couple months in and can see the foam, just no support overall. The "wood" wrapping on the heels has completely peeled off leaving the white block underneath exposed after getting stepped on barely once by a horse and overtime on the other one it has peeled off bit by bit. They are waterproof though.

Bought this shoes a year ago. They are incredible comfortable, but the quality is poor. I didn't used them a lot; just a few hours a week and only in good weathers. The first shoes ever dat are ready for the bin.

DO NOT BUY THE TAUPE COLOR! I like this boot for style, fit, comfort and waterproof capability. However, after only 6 months of wearing this boot under normal conditions (not even wearing them in mud or to the barn or anything other than just on hard surfaces), the color of the one boot started to change DRASTICALLY compared to the other boot and now the pair just looks dumb to wear. I cannot style them anymore with any outfits I want to look nice. I contacted Ariat customer service and they said this is "normal" and not a defect in any way. Caution to those who want to wear this color.

I am so disappointed in Ariat. I have had these 8 months. And only wear during dry weather. When cold or rainy I wear muck boots. So maybe 5 or 6 months of real wear.

These are lovely sturdy boots and I wish I could say I love them. I used the size chart and measured my feet and ordered a wide but they are just too tight and I've worn them several miles multiple times hoping they would "break in" however they still slide on my heels and squeeze the rest of my foot too much to be comfortable. For reference I usually wear 5.5-6 in flats, and 6.5 in Brooks running shoes. I wish I'd tried a 6.5 or 7 on before keeping them (store didn't have my size or wide wide so I ordered online), now I'm out $$$ and can't wear my new quality over quantity waterproof shoes

They fit but everything was off, weight, balance how they moved and supported my feet. Plus they rubbed my shins. Have a rule if they aren't comfortable back they go. I will be returning them when order is complete and I see if there are problems with other parts of order.

Really like the look of this boot, unfortunately even the wide size ended up being a bit narrow for me fit wise. I was making that work with different insoles and thin socks, but the leather covering the heel of the boot started to peel off within a few months, revealing the beige plastic heel underneath. Not a huge deal for a work boot, but definitely not aesthetically nice and seems cheap for the price.

Very narrow boots. I purchased the wide & they are not anything close to a normal wide. My feet arent that wide but were completely crushed in the toe box. They look great but unfortunately need to return them due to fit. Wish they would fix this, have noticed alot of other reviews with same problem, was hoping they were wrong. Other than width, plenty of room/slip in heel, can't say anything about comfort, wasn't able to wear them for more than a few minutes.

I got my boots only 6 months ago and the right boot is already detaching from the footbed. I don't wear them daily and have worn them out in the field only a few times. I know they're supposed to be hardy, but this isn't the case with the boots I have.
