They are a stylish good boot but the dye transfers to your skin. For someone who is very pale, after taking off the boots I have a black circles around my legs.

These boots are absolutely as beautiful and high quality as shown in the photos. That being said, I've had mine for about 10 months and within 3 months the leather around the heel started peeling off. At this point, there is very little left and it looks very odd. I was disappointed that tough Waterproof boots from Ariat would peel so quickly.
Additionally, I ordered my size and ended up swapping them for a 1/2 size up.

I purchased a brand new pair about 6 months ago and the insoles have already worn a hole/ started to crumble. I wear them at most twice a week, so I feel like for the amount of time I've had them this is a quality issue vs regular wear and tear. They are nice boots, but get your own insoles. For the price I would expect more longevity

A very nice looking boot. The foot area is definitely narrow but long and the space around the ankle/lower leg is big. I think once they're broken in they'll be comfy and a good boot. They're warm due to the waterproofing.

Ordered a size 9. Typical boot size for me and these boots fit almost 2 sizes to big! I have tried wearing them because of how nice and expensive they are. But I cannot get comfortable in a boot that slips around.

I was so excited about these and the quality felt amazing. However, I have a narrow foot and my heel kept slipping and made them unusable even with heavy socks so sadly they didn't find a home in my closet.

Boot fit fine but the shaft was very narrow and rubbed on my legs to much to keep. Returning.

I live in Ariats, at the barn and out everywhere. I'm a long term fan. I've never had to break in a pair of Ariats. But these are difficult to get on and off due to the positioning of the elastic. They are uncomfortable to wear, too. The shaft is too high.

Cute boot in photos, but the leather felt a little thin and plasticy. Toe is too pointed

Okay here's the deal, I've owned 3-4 pair of these boots they're beautiful and I love the way they fit but the newest pair I have are falling apart. The strips of leather they glue to the outsides of the heal are peeling off! This doesn't affect the performance of the boot but boy they look horrible. I don't mind buying new boots when they wear out bc I wear these boots all day everyday. But these boots aren't that old and this is purely cosmetic but for the price I shouldn't have to replace boots for a cosmetic defect. I hope the team can take this review and improve the product bc I do love these boots.

Nice looking leather boots but did not work for me. It was very tough to put on, I realize a zipper would work better for me. Once my feet were in, the boots felt loose around the ankles and heel.
I prefer a better fit with a zippered boot.

I read a lot of reviews before buying and ended up buying my usual boot size a 7.5. I comfortably wear a 7.5 in Ariat square toe boots. Like a few other reviewers have noted, they are tight. Front to back the length is perfect, so a larger size wouldn't be right. I have a narrow foot, and I've never worn a wide shoe in my life. I'm wearing them with thick socks for short periods of time hoping to break them in, but right now they're very uncomfortable and I'm disappointed. I love the look and am hoping for a good fit, just haven't got there yet.

I was hoping to replace my old Ariat Cobalt Boots with these but they are not up to standards. I love the Ariat products and have had several pairs (at least 5) of boots. This boot is way too big, just as the reviews say and the leather is pretty stiff. Not near as soft and comfy as my Cobalts.

My biggest issue is that these shoes slide on wet concrete and tile floors. I live in the PNW and it is damp for 5-6 months of the year, so this posses a safety issue. The shoes are also slightly too big and aren't overly comfortable. I can't see standing or walking for long periods of time without discomfort. I bought these to take on a two week trip to Scotland and Ireland. I would have returned them but I didn't think they looked "unworn". This was an expensive failed experiment. I will look for another pair of boots to meet my needs.

I had hoped to love this boot but did not and returned it upon receipt. This is a really well-made high-quality boot, but it was VERY stiff, hard to get on, and uncomfortable once on. I found it to be narrow and too tight on the toes and upper foot, even though it's my normal size (7) and I do not have a wide foot.

Beautiful shoe just didn't fit my foot right- I got wide because my foot is wide at toes but narrow at heel - and the heel was just very very loose - just not comfortable for my weird foot

I purchased these boots for a trip to Scotland where I was prepared for rainy walks around cities. These shoes were comfortable out of the box and I really like the embellishment on the back of the shoe where the heel is a different color than the rest of the boot; it makes it look a bit dressier. The toebox was tight if I wore thicker socks, but thin non-cushioned socks were fine. Like other reviews, if you don't wear socks that come above the ankle, you will be in some pain. The ankle area is very stiff and not forgiving against skin. My first day wearing these with socks that did not come above the ankle of the boot left me with raw skin that was painful. I promptly bought shin-high socks that fixed that problem. I did have slight pain in my pinky toes after wearing these shoes for 8+ hours walking through castles and on uneven city streets, up and down city hills, probably from my foot sliding a bit in the toebox with the thin socks I had to wear to make the toebox feel comfortable. These are well constructed boots and look great though!

Returned because the boot wasn't supportive or structured enough.

Ordered in a 10 wide, they were crushing my feet... I know I have wide feet, but these were way too narrow to be considered a wide in my opinion. They seemed to be made well and were exactly the style I was looking for. I had to send them back

Beautifully made boot but the sole is so stiff boot doesn't flex comfortably while walking. My heel slides up and down inside the boot due to stiff sole.

They were stiff. I'm not sure if they break in with time?! I had to return them because they were not wide enough.
