Like the more colorful versions to easily sort them from my single-color "classic" Smartwool pairs owned for years. Not field test these latest ones yet but always liked comfort & fit of Smartwool. Reasonable durability.

Smartwool socks are my go to for daily use, best for hiking in wet and dry weather. Here is Wisconsin you never can bet on the weather, these will keep your feet dry all day.

I use these socks every day. They feel so comfortable and are nicely cushioned.

Great socks. Good color and constructed well. My only complaint is that the free shipping bar is at $89. This is wildly too expensive and feels greedy and needs to be lowered to the industry standard.

I like the targeted cushion and the warm these socks provide. They're what I'd call light for hiking, not a full sock. I like them for dayhikes, weekenders and around town.

Love these socks. I used ankle and footie styles for hiking and found that I liked them so much I purchased some crews to wear with casual. Such a good fit and so comfortable.

i ordered these for my partner who wears a large men's sock. Her feet are 11.5. These unisex large are too small, plus they were supposed to be purple.

The sock is soft and comfortable but way too long. They are twice as long as the ones in the picture. I also wish they had a right and a left. I prefer for my high end socks be made specifically with a right and a left one.

I haven't worn this pair yet. It's been hot out.

Warm socks

I love these socks minus the durability. They get holes in them very easily. I went through three pairs in 7 months. For the price I would love to see a product that lasts. Super comfortable before they get holes in them.

Purchased this sock a month ago, perfect fit. Reordered, and this new sock is about 1/2 inch smaller in the crew part, felt like it was cutting off circulation.

They were way too thin for my husband. He wore the PhD socks for 20 years and loved them. Smartwool discontinued them to our great dismay. These Hike Crew Socks were terrible.

I purchased 3 pairs Two were great. One had a hole (defect from manufacturing) where the toe meets the body. Given the cost of these socks, I would have expected better quality control.

I've worn Smartwool socks for at least 15 years and thought they were the best available. They fit snug, didn't bunch up, and stayed in place. The "updated" versions now fit like an oversized pillowcase. They fit loose and have significant extra material in the toe area. They changed a great product into something that is less than mediocre.
