I got this sock and several variations of it for my wife and I just for work socks around the homestead. I love everything about them. What more is there to say?

My grown boys always ask for these for Christmas. They both primarily work outside and they comment that these socks keep their feet warm but never get sweaty. This is not the case with other socks they have tried.

Everyday comfortable wear. They just feel good and warm.

I wear my SmartWool socks in both my boots and hiking shoes daily. They offer excellent cushioning for my feet. I also appreciate that they keep my feet warm and do not slip or ball up under my feet like some cheaper socks do. It's hard to go back to regular cotton socks after wearing these.

Didn't like how they come up on the leg from the ankle to the top.

I bought these hiking socks as gifts for Christmas because I think they're the best comfy wool socks anybody could use. I have always loved wearing these ski socks for skiing because they are warm and comfortable. So I know these would make great gifts for my loved ones.

These are my go to socks for walking and/or light hiking. The lightweight cushioning works great. These socks are quite durable.

I use these socks for everyday wear, and they're comfortable, with no protruding seams. They stay up and don't pinch my calves. Overall they feel great.

Purchase several of these Hike Crew Socks, size XL (my foot size =13/14) with bottom cushioning. They are very comfortable to wear, fit very well, even after initial washing and drying ("delicate" and cold water wash/dry). Love the style and colors as well!

It is good quality. The size runs small though. I bought size M for my son (shoe size 8). It is too tight. I had to change to size L.

While I use them for hiking, I like to wear them as everyday wear as they are comfortable and durable. I have worn dozens of these over many years. One nit: When Smartwool change their product naming, they did nothing to let recurring buyers know what PhD's were now called.
