This is the second pair of these socks that I have. They are comfortable for spring and fall temps for me, but not quite as thick/warm as I need in the winter. The color would not be my first pick, but I'm not going to complain about free (sort of).

I haven't worn this pair yet. It's been hot out.

Like the other 30 or so pairs of Smartwool socks I've bought over the last decade, these are amazing. Warm but breathable, they make my feet happy.

So far, I really like them. The true test will be how long they last and how they feel after hiking all day with a pack on.

I have purchased Smartwool Socks for over 15 years. The quality, comfort, cushioning and longevity have been outstanding. I used them as a full-time firefighter until I retired. They perform well in all weather conditions and firefighting situations. Whether it is hot, cold, or wet they are great. On wildland or structure fires they keep my feet in good condition. Recreationally they perform perfectly and are my choice for golfing, biking and running. Most of my socks have lasted 7-10 years with little signs of wear. I always recommend them as the best socks that you can own.

Amazing Sock! Wore these on a 5 day, 60 mile backpacking trip. Crossed streams and hiked over 6 miles one day with wet socks and boots. No blisters.

Great fit and feel

These socks are great for daily use during the cold winter months, and also for hiking any time of the year. The fit is true to size and they truly keep the feet dry.

Wasn't sure how I would like these socks but my mind is definitely changed!! Great comfortable socks and exceeded expectations!

Soft as a puppy's ear. I wore these for casual around-town socks on a day hot enough where I normally wouldn't wear socks, but I wanted to try them out. My feet stayed comfortable in their own little microclimate. No soggy socks, no clammy feet. #sweepstakes

I've worn Smartwool socks for at least 15 years and thought they were the best available. They fit snug, didn't bunch up, and stayed in place. The "updated" versions now fit like an oversized pillowcase. They fit loose and have significant extra material in the toe area. They changed a great product into something that is less than mediocre.

#smartwool socks are the BEST!!! My husband got a pair as a gift (for Christmas) from a co-worker and is now hooked!! It's the only kind of sock he will wear now!! He's always going on and on about his Smartwool socks..;) I bought these light cushion hike for him to add to his collection and they are literally the best brand of sock(s) he has ever had. They provide great support and cushion, are breathable, cute pattern - they could be worn as a dress sock, they wash well and DON'T lose their cushion after a a few wears! They are perfection! A really amazing product and if you read a little into the company's back story of how they started and how they work to be conscious of the environment- you will be blown away!!! Totally awesomeness!!!!

Cushion is in the right spots and not too thick. These socks held up great on a long day hike. Durability is key, I look forward to experiencing these on more hikes.

Like the more colorful versions to easily sort them from my single-color "classic" Smartwool pairs owned for years. Not field test these latest ones yet but always liked comfort & fit of Smartwool. Reasonable durability.

Smartwool socks are my go to for daily use, best for hiking in wet and dry weather. Here is Wisconsin you never can bet on the weather, these will keep your feet dry all day.

I use these socks every day. They feel so comfortable and are nicely cushioned.
