Love these socks. I used ankle and footie styles for hiking and found that I liked them so much I purchased some crews to wear with casual. Such a good fit and so comfortable.

These are my new favorite socks. The new mesh really help improve the fit in the mid foot area over the older PhD socks. Otherwise the sizing, softness and cushioning level are spot on. The only bad thing to say about these socks is that it's going to be awhile before my other smartwool hiking socks die and I can replace them all with these. #SmartwoolLove

Like'm. Lightweight, comfy, and good moisturewicking. They are unisex though.

My son lives in Norway and he wears only Smart Wool socks that I buy him as gifts. I was confused when the PhD crew socks were discontinued, but the Hike Light are apparently the replacement. I hope he will like them!
