Like the lighter socks for hikes

Soft as a puppy's ear. I wore these for casual around-town socks on a day hot enough where I normally wouldn't wear socks, but I wanted to try them out. My feet stayed comfortable in their own little microclimate. No soggy socks, no clammy feet. #sweepstakes

These socks are the Swiss Army knife of premium outdoor socks. I bought them to hike Nepal and Bhutan with and they have exceeded my expectations.

I used them on a 12.2 mile walk through a natural area. Although I live in South Florida where the temperatures are now in the mid-80s F, my feet did not get hot or feel sweaty, nor did I get blisters. They worked great and they are easy to care for, a win-win-win all around.

They are great. I am a new convert two wool socks and I have tried a couple of different brands and yours are at the top of the list. I use them for mountain biking and they are way better than the cotton socks I was using. Also, I will be evaluating them in the summertime to check their comfort in the heat.

I wear these to work with dress boots. Comfortable, warm, but also stay dry when walking. Cushion is great for when I'm on my feet. Great socks!

Perfect for hiking in warmer weather.

I wear these as street socks if I expect to be doing much walking as they are durable and provide some cushioning on the bottom. One thing that I find annoying is that Smartwool marketing renames socks without ever telling the customer what the old names are. I suspect a lot of you are like me and want to buy what you bought before but can't tell 1) What Smartwool is calling them now. 2) Does Smartwool even make the sock (or whatever) anymore. As I said annoying and, from a business point of view, quite dumb. If you call, the agent quite often doesn't know either. You don't want customers saying "Oh, forget it. This is too much work trying to figure out what's what. I'll just buy some more Darn Tough socks instead."

Great socks. I work as a wildland firefighter, great combo of comfort, longevity, and not too warm. So good I bought 10 pairs!

Comfortable and quick drying. Great for travel, hiking and birding in Costa Rica!

Great hiking socks for hot temperatures. They maintain a comfortable temperature even in gortex boots in Southern Louisiana.

#smartwool socks are the BEST!!! My husband got a pair as a gift (for Christmas) from a co-worker and is now hooked!! It's the only kind of sock he will wear now!! He's always going on and on about his Smartwool socks..;) I bought these light cushion hike for him to add to his collection and they are literally the best brand of sock(s) he has ever had. They provide great support and cushion, are breathable, cute pattern - they could be worn as a dress sock, they wash well and DON'T lose their cushion after a a few wears! They are perfection! A really amazing product and if you read a little into the company's back story of how they started and how they work to be conscious of the environment- you will be blown away!!! Totally awesomeness!!!!

Got rid of all my cotton socks. Feet are happy! Love the socks, decided to buy even more.

So comfortable and soft. No seems and just the right amount of cushion and warmth.

I wear these when I go hiking and backpacking. I also wear with my work boots. They feel so good on my feet.

Like the more colorful versions to easily sort them from my single-color "classic" Smartwool pairs owned for years. Not field test these latest ones yet but always liked comfort & fit of Smartwool. Reasonable durability.

Terrific socks. They have stood up to constant abuse, and have been able to keep me warm on some very snowy days on the trail. Just make sure not to throw them in the dryer, and you won't have any issues. #sweepstakes
