Socks, a personal item whose service to a diabetic can be priceless. NOTE: these are not marketed as diabetic socks but I have tried all of the labeled brands out there and these do it for me. The Merimo blend and cushion keep my feet stable, cool, dry but Do Not dry out my skin! They don't shift. Don't rub and the ankles are comfortable snug, but not constricted. I am 6'2", 275 pounds with a size 13. If you're in the same boat I was in, buy a pair of them to try out. If they are for you, more will be in your cart soon. I bought 3 pairs of Hike Light crews and 2 pairs of Hike Full Cushion crews to have my obligatory "winter selection", but as I get more of these in the budget, those crew socks will see less and less service, even in the winter months.

Use to cushion shoes while walking on stone roads

I use these daily in my work boots and also for hiking and at the gym. They are comfortable and do an excellent job of wicking moisture away from my feet greatly reducing foot odor and athletes foot.

Good socks but ridiculously expensive.

They a comfortable for all day hikes and they maintain a comfortable foot temperature.
