Here's the deal, if you don't buy Smartwool socks you're basically wasting money and I'm in no way being paid for this. I used to buy Haines x-temp sport socks in 6 packs for about $20 and they'd last me 6 months or so and they were nice I guess. I was in an outdoor gear store that was going out of business and saw some Smartwool socks that were on sale so I figured I'd try since I'd always considered them over priced, but I immediately noticed a difference. It was the first time that words like support and cushioning actually made sense on a sock, they have a great fit and feel, when they get wet they absorb all the water and dissipate it, I've accidentally fully submerged my foot and I didn't even have pruned toes when I took the sock off a couple hours later. The kicker is the build, instead of having 6 pairs of socks that would last 6 months, I had 6 pairs of socks that lasted several years, since that first purchase I've made several more, I have about 10 pair that I wear on a daily basis that have been wearing very well and the few times I had an issue I was issued a gift card to replace the pair that had a problem, I also several various pairs of hike and outdoor socks. Needless to say I'm very happy with the socks and will continue to enjoy them for many years to come

These socks are perfect. They fit snugg around the arch of my foot. The hiking ankle socks don't slide down into the shoe. The crew socks are not as tight on the leg as others.

I bought these for my boyfriend, who has very large feet (size 14, XXL fits him perfectly). He is normally forced to wear whatever sporty ankle socks he can find in his size, which means that his feet are often cold in our Canadian winters. I wasn't sure if he'd like the feeling of the wool (I love Smartwool products but sometimes guys can be fussy!) so I only bought one pair. He loves them, his feet are finally toasty and they look great! I have bought him two more pairs since :-).

Our son only wears smartwool socks. The quality, breathability and all around comfort of the variable socks available in a smaller size for males is greatly appreciated.

I've been looking for hiking socks that are both thin and not bulky, but also comfortable and durable for long hikes. These fit the bill. I've loved hiking in them.

These socks are really good if you want a bit of cushion, but not too much. I live in Oregon and during the fall it's been go to sock to wear and run. The sock keeps my foot warm in the cold mornings and also feeling dry during my long runs would highly recommend.

These are just the pair I've been looking for both for running and the hike on the trails, as always well done.

Even the thicker ankle socks are perfect for the summer. They add additional comfort to the shoes you wear and your legs don't feel overheated due to the low cut.

Stylish and functional. Wear like iron. Wool is much mote durable than cotton. Can ever be worn as house slippers. Their elasticity survives clothes dryer repeatedly. Glad I discovered Smartwool.
