Very comfortable with my low hikers on trails.

I love these socks! They fit perfectly. I wear a size 8 shoe and I ordered the medium socks and they fit great. I loved them so much I ordered two more pairs.

I've been a fan of the lightweight, targeted cushion running socks and had hoped for a lightweight full cushion under foot. While I like the running socks, the targeted cushioning means that for me, the "pads" of the cushioning throw off, ever so slightly, the benefits of my prescription orthotics. e.g., I need arch support, so having the front and rear pads working to offer more cushion in those areas, means my arches don't get as much support as there is no cushioning in the arch. Enter these hiking socks, with the full length under the foot being cushioned. It affords a consistent feel underfoot with my orthotics, allowing them to do their job more effectively. For my part, I don't know why Smartwool feels that the full, lightweight cushion underfoot is only a good fit for hiking. I would buy more of these for everyday use if Smartwool would come out with more mainstream colors. The limitation here is that in only offering the socks under the hiking segment, Smartwool has opted for darker and earthier color tones. Those colors are probably a good fit for hiking shoes, but not so much for everyday sneakers or running shoes. In short these are fantastic socks and I hope Smartwool will broaden the colors available, and/or, do so with the more mainstream colors being sold under the "running" category. I don't know why runners wouldn't want full, consistent cushioning underfoot as an option.

These socks are equally as important as the shoes I wear to keep my feet comfortable while I'm working.

My feet sweat alot. These are great socks for running. Playing basketball and for everyday wear.

First time buying these socks. I would definitely be purchasing more.

I was given my first pair of Smartwool socks about eight years ago, and they are now worn out, and I need replacements. I tried other brands, but they are not comparable to the fit and comfort of Smartwool socks, which is excellent.

Solid socks, very comfortable and durable, sizing is larger than expected. I have a 7 shoe size, went with women's medium and even after intentionally shrinking them they are still a little large.
