Everyday traveling running hiking wandering skateboarding. I traded these for some "run" smartwools that were made different, too big/ slipped off w shoe/ not as much cushion then I had used to be getting from smart wool for a decade. I'll have these for 2 or 3 years before getting new ones. Not even because of wear, but I'll lose one and have to buy another pair. I've tried other merino wool active socks, none last for me. I like these hike versions even better than the run. More absorbent and comfortable. I've been wearing these a week now straight, love them, no smell but I'll wash them for dirt.. The runs I'd wash every 2 to 3 days in sink.

Every single day socks. I had been getting the "run" ones for the last decade, but they changed the way they're made, and were too big for me/ slipped right off w shoe/ weren't as thick/ sweat in them way more. Warranty Exchanged for these hike ones and much happier. They like the run ones back again, for me. I've tried other merino wool companies and they all wore out much faster (6 months) then the 3 years or so average I have these. Often they don't even wear out, I just lose one and have to buy whole new pair.

Love them. Use when walking playing golf. Keep feet dry and are very confertable.

I loved the warmth and breathability of these socks. And they are cushioned and soft as well. I wore them on a flight going from -30* C to +30*C. .......they were comfortable and breathable and soft and moisture wicking under both extremes. But it WAS nice to get into a pair of sandals! :-) I look forward to using them for hiking under damp conditions.

It's a nice pair of socks. Comfortable and looks great! Have only worn them once, so not sure about the longevity yet. Would like to see the same design and colors as the red and grey except change the red to blue.

All I wear now is smartwool socks. Love that these have light cushion. I now have 20 pairs of crew and low ankle socks. Because I can wear them 2-3 days each, I only have to wash a load every 2 months! 6 times a year!! This investment will last a long time.

My husband only takes them off long enough to go in the washer. Replacing all his socks with Smartwool now.

It really is the perfect hiking sock. So much better than other brands, and probably my favorite sock from Smartwool (I've had three other pairs).

Great socks for sneakers

Very comfortable and keep my feet dry. I wear these with a variety of running, hiking and casual shoes. Ill be buying more of these socks

use for work every day very supportive my feet stay warm and dry these sicks dont stink either after 12 hrs. haha

Feel thicker in heels than expected, but otherwise great

These are cushioned with mid-foot support. I wear them while hiking and decided my husband needed an upgrade.

I use these socks as my everyday socks, and especially for my (trails) walking. They are about as good as it gets, I think. Just the right amount of cushion and in the right place, comfortable, and have the merino that I like. I do not dry them--just wash on gentle/cold and they seem to do just fine. Some pilling, but not excessive.

Compared to other well known competitors, these are wider in the toes and have a nice stretch. Very comfortable.

These are my go to everyday all year socks. I love them! A little pricey for socks but worth every penny!!!

This shape is perfect for my full loafer My feet freeze in the winter time and cotton footies you buy at the grocery store just don't cut it. Worth every penny.

This is my 7 pair of socks that I bought that are Amartwool. I tried other and they can not compare to Smartwool. They are a fit perfect and no pain from sock lines. I live in Florida and wear them summer months. They repel the sweat and my feet do not stink or smell. I will buy more and they are worth ever penny.

So I'm really happy with all of my many SmarWool socks, and this particular pair was a replacement from an gift I had gotten, those ones had gotten a hole in them, and with very minimal effort SmartWool made it easy to replace the socks at no charge, even adding funds to make sure shipping was free. It's this kind of customer service and care in product that makes me a customer for life. Also they are some of the comfiest socks I've worn. Soft and plush.

I love these socks! The padding is perfect for hiking or long days on my feet. I these are the best and most durable socks I've found with Merino wool. The wool is a must for moisture wicking. Side benefit in a pinch I've been able to re-wear without feet feeling gross....
