My husband wears these socks daily. He says they are very comfortable and that his feet are never cold in cold weather. He has given them to several family members and friends as a gift.

My first time with Smartwool on my wife's suggestion & I really like these socks! Comfortable, breathable. My only critique is that ankle height socks do not come in full cushion.

Great, warm, comfortable, quality socks

These socks work great for me. No seam discomfort and the fit around my ankle area is perfect. I have NO negative comments.

I bought these socks for my son-in-law who lives in Florida and had never seen snow. He and my daughter were going to be traveling to Erie, PA, via Buffalo, after New Year's, so chances were good there would be snow and he'd want to spend time outside. I have Smartwool socks that I love (gift from another daughter) and I have learned that if your feet warm, none of you is! So I ordered two pair for my son-in-law. They were supposed to arrive in time for me to give them as a gift for Christmas, but unfortunately they got lost through the FedEx System. The woman I spoke with at your company was kind enough to arrange for a new order to be sent directly to him. Happy ending - he saw lots of snow, and loved the socks!

Heard of Smartwool when my nephew sent me the link asking for these socks as a Christmas gift. Great website depicting amazing variety of products. Easy to order. Good quality. Fast delivery. Went on to order 4 more pair as Christmas gifts for other family members. All were beautiful. Recipients loved them.

They've changed these socks, less wool, less padding on the bottoms. These aren't the socks you remember.

Socks are nice but less wool than previously! Bought the socks on Ntl Sock Day and should have gotten a free pair. Unclear in cart, so I reached out after the order went through only to get, "it's too late now" reply from most likely a bot( I hope at least since the response was very curt!

I gave this 4 stars not because of the shipping time nor the quality but because I purchased these for my wife who received a pair of these as a gift and requested another. So, basically I can only rate these by my limited experience. They feel soft and look like they're well made. My wife is very happy with then so... Happy wife, Happy life!

Stretchier than the original. Very comfy.

Performed well on 7 mile walk, as expected. Look good doing it, as expected.

The socks were a gift for my son and sons-in-law. They work out doors and use them every day.

Smart Wool socks are comfortable and durable, and they breathe better than many other brands. These socks can be worn as every day socks and for long walks and hikes. I only wear these socks with sneakers or hiking shoes/boots. The only issue is fit. I usually wear size 9 or 9.5 shoes and size 10 sneakers and boots. Thus, I gots Large size socks. They are a little loose on my foot, after washing, and I'm hoping they can be shrunk a little.

Socks are warm. However, they tend to bind at the top.

Generally Smart Wool socks I've bought in the past seemed smaller or more snug. The large has too muck sock. I would be concerned about hiking in these and having them bunch up or shift in my boot an cause a blister.

These look more purple than brown in person. I am in between a M and L so I sized up but they don't fit well.

Wish these were just about an inch taller.

The plastic holding the pair of socks together were melted and needed to be cut off the socks and therefore damaged the weave

I've worn Smartwool socks for hiking for years and have loved them. They seem to have been redesigned recently with less cushioning, however, so if that is important to you, it might be a good idea to chat with customer service so you order the socks that are right for you. .Customer service at Smartwool is excellent.
