The Hike Classic Editions are the only socks I wear. I live in NE Florida, and these socks provide the perfect amount of warmth during the winter months, and then during the rest of the year they keep my feet cool and dry. They are very durable; I've had several pairs for over 10 years. I've never had trouble with irritating seams, or poor craftsmanship. Each pair has been as good as the last.

Classic hiking sock. I wear them all winter in central VA.

I love my Smartwool socks, so I decided to get my husband some for Christmas. He loves them. Looks like I'll be buying some more.

I've been buying Smartwool socks since the 1990's. Though I've tried some of the other brands I've never found any that wear as well, last as long and provide as much comfort. Simply the best. If there's any suggestion I could make it would be - more colors in the Hike Classic Edition socks.

Comfortable and warm. I love that they're not bulky and can be worn in all my shoes with ease. My favorite cool-to-cold weather socks, and, great around the house in slippers.

Comfortable socks but they kinda feel like they're going to be a bit hot for summers here in Georgia.

These are super comfortable. If you are between sizes I would maybe size down. Otherwise super comfy.

These classic light hiking socks are my favorite socks. I have worn them for many years with work oxfords (large animal veterinarian, standing on concrete floors of dairy barns many hours per day, rubber boots over shoes) and athletic shoes. They are the only socks I have ever worn that actually make my feet FEEL better. For use in hiking boots I prefer the heavier weight version, however.

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL VERSION: Disappointed in quality relative to the originals, which I have had for years. Unlike the originals, the socks don't stay up. They seem to have less wool and/or weaker nylon or elastic than the original. Here is the current composition: Knit in USA of Imported Yarn: 56% Merino Wool, 11% Nylon, 31% Recycled Nylon, 2% Elastane. If this is different than the original, that may explain the issue I am having. I will not be buying these again unless this problem is addressed.

The product has dropped in quality dramatically from what it used to be. I was disappointed but kept the socks and we'll see how they wear. Up until this time, they are the only socks that I wear.

I'm a longtime user of Smartwool but am frustrated by this purchase. Not only doesn't the sock match the photo, but your people told me they don't expect it to. What's the point of having a photo if it doesn't match to the product photo or description? Yes, you have offered to let me return it but what's the point?

These are work socks and I really enjoy them. They fit well and keep my feet warm. Wicking could be a little better, but will buy them again.

Smartwool socks are on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. I've gotten some serious mileage out of every pair I've had and will continue to spend the extra $ for the comfort and durability they provide. Don't hesitate to "invest" in them your feet will be grateful
