Very cute. The boots are taupe and the shearling is pink. Unfortunately the buckle is very difficult to reach once the boots are on. Back they go.

Like walking on cement. The style is less awkward than Uggs in terms of a more narrow toebox so you don't look like you have giant bear feet. The fur lining inside the light tan boots skews a bit pink which is odd. But as so many other reviewers said, that I apparently needed to try for myself to believe, the faux fur lining extends down and stops before the sole of the shoe. The sole is leather which is cold (not good for a winter boot!), slippery and covers a standard rock hard base. I'm sure it's the regular Birkenstock footbed with cork but it literally felt like walking on cement to me. When I say that I mean within just a couple minutes indoors my toes where hurting because it was like pounding on pavement. There wasn't a prominent toebar; it was just that the soles are that rigid and hard. Was this going to hurt my feet, knees, hips and back trying to walk pounding around like this while sliding on the cold, slippery leather? Yes. I tried inserting a faux fur liner which just made everything too tight. It's just not worth the hassle of ordering and returning a variety of liners to try to find something with warmth and a little cushion when that's part of what makes a great winter boot. The price point is too high to not provide something comfortable, warm, functional and stylish right out of the box. The design doesn't make sense as is.
