This is a great piece of winter clothing I have found, honestly. I have tested it out in as low as 6 degree Fahrenheit so I think I can give a good review on it. First of all I got this jacket so that I can travel in cold with a good sense of fashion. I layer it over a t-shirt and put another jacket on top of it. This jacket kept my chest warm enough in temperature as low as 28 degree fahrenheit. Might not be that useful as a standalone for temperatures below that unless you know how to layer it well with other winter clothing. Highly recommend it, super light.

I have been buying and using the northface thermoball vests since they came out. I use them around the house, as an under layer and as a biking vest. Simply put.....they are versital and frankly, fantastic warmth!
