I work as a ski instructor and this vest provides just enough warmth without going into sweat mode when teaching. It keeps the core warm.

Great thinner layer on those cold days but not cold enough for me tried and true TNF Apex.

The vest was a gift for which my son gave me a hint. Not only is North Face a choice for him and me, but a choice of clothes, shoes and accessories still for my grown sons and my two high school varsity basketball granddaughters. You can only imagine how many times just our girls have outgrown their Nikes, basketball and school, all these years.

It was a Christmas gift for my husband and he has worn it every day since he unwrapped it. He loves it. Keeps his core warm without a big bulky coat.

Got this for my husband to wear while golfing. He LOVES it! I already have a couple of these and he liked the idea that keeps me warm and allows my upper body to swing freely. But, he thought mine looked too bulky. Not this one! This style is sufficiently thin to keep him warm and allow freedom of movement, without any bulk. He may buy more in varying colors in the future. In the meantime, it was a Merry Christmas!
