I usually wear a hoddie under my jacket, but this is too small, I had to change it to next size, that fits perfect, so my advise is to buy a bigger size than your actual size

I ordered a medium and was a little snug at the hip, so I returned it. I'm sure the arms on the large will be too long, which is the case with most NorthFace and is very annoying. Zappos makes returns very easy.

It isn't as thick as I wanted it to be but it is nice and comfortable.

I agree with other reviews regarding quality. I'm all about recycling and have no problem (prefer) purchasing products made with recycled materials. However if the level of quality is compromised as with this jacket (warmth level, zipper quality) then don't charge the same premium price ++ just because of brand. I don't even have a problem with the logo not being embroidered but the overall quality for price--I'm starting to wish I had returned this. Btw, bought it for daily use so I wouldn't wear out my Triclimate inner which is of better quality. I thought this would be comparable but it is not. Sorry TNF, mark missed. Sorry me, money not well spent.

I ordered this online to replace a jacket I had like it. When I got it - I didn't like the color and it fit differently then my last jacket, so I returned it with the very easy prepaid label in the package.

Ordered both M and L and not a good fit. Had to return both. M too small over arms and L too big over torso. Not the same fit as the older one I have. Really bad design for the arms

I could not find one in either Mets or womens sizes that would fit me. So sad because the jacket is really nice. I had to buy an old model elsewhere which was cut in a way to accommodate my girth. This newer cut is Great for slim people or men with no hips.

I will use it to keep warm when biking in the winter. I'm not young, and am on an e-bike so not working that hard and the northwest winds are damp and chilly.

I have a dozen Thermoball jackets that I've acquired over several years. But this "Eco" jacket is way more flimsy, the collar is not as nicely finished, and TNF is now using a cheap heat-pressed logo sticker on the front and back (a la Eddie Bauer). If you hold this jacket up to the window, you can literally see daylight through it. This is really disappointing because it's still close to a $200 jacket, before tax. But I'd rather pay more, TNF, than have your quality and attention to detail diminish!

Great light packable jacket for travel. Very warm, too. However, I wish I had sized up due to the tight arm area. Anything more than a tee shirt will not fit into this jacket. Size up if you want a comfortable fit without feeling constricted.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
This was a great jacket - so versatile and traveled nicely because it took little room. Unfortunately, the zipper broke already. I am very careful with my clothing, so I was surprised it broke within 2 years of purchasing and limited use.

This isnt the same jacket they made years ago. Fit is smalled and I hated the painted on northface, my old one was black on black and sewn in so much nicer, I returned.

So disappointed, I have this jacket from a few years ago in small and was getting tight on me so got great deal at zappos on this and WOW its like a different jacket I got a M and my old small fits better and I really dislike the printed logo its so CHEAP looking. My old one is not like that and its black so it doesn't stand out that much. Sent back and bummed over it , but couldnt get past the cheap white northface logo.

This was my 2nd Thermoball jacket purchase (same size as my first one, size small). Loved the one I purchased 3-4 years ago. Unfortunately, this one is getting returned. The logo is no longer sewn and is now ironed on. I can foresee that peeling quite easily. The sleeve hem is different and not in a good way, they are loose which will allow air in. The sleeves also seem shorter. I do have longer arms, but sleeve length was not an issue with my first thermoball jacket. Really disappointed! On a positive note, shipping was extremely fast.
