This is a "slim" fit. If you plan on wearing bulky sweaters underneath you might want to go a size up.

I like that it has a little more insulation than the original thermoball, but am severely disappointed that North Face dropped the sequoia red from the thermoball jacket line. It was absolutely awesome!

Love the lightness of the jacket. But didn't love the logo is not stitched on, now I'm afraid it fall.

it's a great fit I'm a medium sized but on this I ordered large.. so my advice to anybody buying this jacket size up .. if you don't you'll see what I'm talking about. other than that love how it looks and feels.

Too start, I'm 5'10" and 205lbs. 60% athlete, 40% dad bod. I ordered the large, and its like spandex. It was like doing thai-chi just getting it on. Then it fit fine if I only plan on wearing a thin t-shirt and never moving my arms.. If I raised my arms, the jacket was up at my sternum. I have jackets from Columbia and LL Bean in large, and they fit my frame fine. It will be returned, and as luck would have it, the color I like is out of stock in XL. Easy come, easy go, I guess. It is a nice jacket, though I did find the zipper a little flimsy.

i had the previous version, and i like it already. the version 2.0 is even warmer. before i purchased it, i compared it with patagonia. However, i like this northface style more. i tried it for more than a month already. its really nice! keep me warm in nyc city when temperature around 40s or even around 30s without wind. However, i really hate the stitch quality. i already see bad thread. and the outer shell is not strong enough to fence off rough area. i hope Northface honor the life time warranty.

THe only think i don't like is a design issue. The cinch string on the right side tightens up the bottom of the jacket with is great. The juts didn't put a loop inside to tuck in the excess string. So now I have this string hanging out the side of the jacket. It looks terrible like that.

I bought this becaue I wanted a "down" jacket that wasn't spitting out feathers all of the time. I feel the zipper coiuld have been a little higher quality. I find it hard to get the slider to go all of the way down to the bottom, it gets caught on the zip hardware at the bottom and I have to play with it a bit to get past that. Other than that I am pleased with my purchase.

Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of this jacket. The price point was a little bit high, but it is very durable and I would definitely purchase again.

Nice coat. I ultimately didn't keep it because the medium was a bit too snug for me and the large was a bit too large. I would give 5 stars if they made tall sizes (tall medium). However, the quality seemed very good, and it was very warm.

Great look, comfortable, and protects well from the cold. The jacket was just slightly small even though a jacket I already have from the North Face (same size) fits perfectly.
