This coat looks nice and is warm and soft, but the snaps for the hood come undone far too easily. In fact, just trying to pull my hood up usually causes several snaps to come undone.

I wear this jacket every day for the cold and sometimes wet weather. It dries quickly and is very warm. The zipper works without any issue and I love the pockets because they are deep enough for keys and chapstick or my phone and I don't worry they will slip out. I am really unhappy with the hood that snaps on and off. Every time I put my purse on my shoulder it unsnaps a couple of snaps and it is totally annoying. I am wearing the jacket less because the snapping hood bothers me so much. If you don't carry a backpack or purse, this coat is amazing. If you do, I would steer clear of this jacket and go with one that has a zipper or is permanently on the jacket.

The coat is just okay. It is very warm but the removable hood comes off way too easily ( you must put the hood on slowly and carefully or it'll rip off). The material also ripped in the elbow area after having it for only a month. Wouldn't purchase again at this price.

I love the way this jacket fits. I am a busty women size 16-18 and this jacket complemented my figure. The only huge issue is the button snap hood. The hood easily unsnaps from jacket. Since I like to wear my hood in Seattle weather this really annoys me. I also wished the logo was embroidered. I ordered size 3x

I loved the style of this coat and thought it would be perfect until I wore it outside. The cold air just entered the inside of the coat from the hemline. No way to fit that! Sent it back. If you are just using it for style, it's a winner.

Nice color gray . Seems that the xl was snug and the xxl was huge. Didn't like the matted print emblem. I think that it will eventually peel off. Plan on returning.

My husband bought me this jacket on NYE as a gift in another state but less than a month later, one of the buttons on the hood broke off. The hood would constantly pop a part while wearing it too.

The hood keeps coming off. Even with normal wear. So annoying. Also the zipper is small. I have to fight to find it and zip up esp the pockets. I'm always on the go and this jacket is a pain. It's warm and stylish. But these 2 things are deal breakers for me.

My husband picked this in Wild Ginger and the color is just beautiful. Unfortunately with very limited wear the feathers are coming out. Also, if absolutely anything gets on the coat, it doesn't come out. I had it less then a month and wore it only to and from the office and any dirt or spots on the coat are just there forever. Washed according to the instructions and the coat is now just ruined. A lot of money to spend to not be able to wash a jacket even once without it being just destroyed.

Daughter liked it well enough but I thought it was pretty slippery that nowhere did it mention in the advertisement that it was a slim fit. I had ordered her an XL size thank goodness. She kept the coat but it was a close fit being a slim fit. I felt that was sneaky on North Faces part.

I returned this jacket because the fit was not how it is pictured. The bottom of the jacket flares out from the hips and is not fitted like it seems to be in the pictures.

I really wanted to like this jacket.. I'm usually a medium so I ordered a medium first and then it was too tight on the sides and also on the chest. I thought sizing up would be the perfect fit but the large one was too big for me too. I like how it looks flattering on me in the waist area but I'm just sad that there are no in-between sizes. The hood also looks weird.

Not for NY winter. I expected the quality to be better

Color is good. The material is great. Neither the xs or small fit me and I'm usually one of the other. I'm 5'2 and 110lbs. The xs was too tight and the small was way too loose. I returned both. I wasn't a fan of how this jacket was made to fit. I love my small Gotham II, which I believe is an older style of the same type of jacket.

I got this for my skii trip last March. So in an year I only wore it hardly for 2 weeks. This jacket's fabric is so thin that it has tiny holes all over and the insulation keeps coming out. Not worth the price.

The main reason a don't like this jacket is the hood, I wish can fix it with a zipper

Thing arent great about it. The hood of the jacket comes off easily, the feathers also come out. The hood in the house is the worst, I feel that the buttons are very bad, of poor quality, they do not adjust anything.

Bought online direct from North Face. Said nothing about being a slim fit, checked again after arriving. They should have made that clear before ordereding

I was surprised to see that the coat is ripping, I had to sewed it, and I only wore it twice. North faxe's coats and jackets are made with good materials, Im very disappointed because I really like the jacket.

very thin and not at all warm, i would return this
