Jacket is a nice weight for NYC weather. And true to size. I'm not crazy about the look of the back as it has elastic about about half way down.

I bought this jacket on line and was not as happy about the actual fit, in person. I realized that it did not have as much of a custom fit as I was looking for. I needed to go to the store to try on different styles until I found the one that fit more of my needs and requirements.

It's okay runs a lil small

This jacket is warm and comfortable! It feels like I am wrapped in a soft, fluffy cloud! I love how it keeps me warm as colder weather is approaching. The only thing I dislike is the hood snaps off and on. When I am reaching to put the hood on sometimes it comes undone and then I have to try to quickly snap it back together. Overall, the jacket will keep you warm and you will receive several compliments!

Very warm and comfortable jacket! I do wish that the pockets were lined on both sides instead of just the top and the snaps for the hood unsnap too easily, wish they were a little tougher.

The buttons for the hood connecting it to the jacket does keeps unsnapping! They should make it with a zipper.

its a good warm jacket flattering your body . I give four starts because of the issue with the hood it keeps unclipping and as well it sheds feathers which is sooo annoying .

It's such a cute jacket but didn't fit me well- just too tight across the chest and shoulders for me. Not unusual with NF for me, but sizing up would mean the waist and hips would be too big. I'm 36C across the chest with athletic shoulders. I wish companies wouldn't design coats to be such boob crushers! Sadly returning

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for. I'd been meaning to invest in a quality winter jacket, one that would last but wasn't necessarily "trendy." I am a short girl (5'0") and have a large chest and wide hips (aprox. 170lbs) so a boxier puffer is not flattering on me and I have a pretty hard time finding my proper size in most items. I took a chance and ordered a large, it fit just fine but I didn't have maximum motion or comfort. I returned and exchanged for an XL and it is perfect! The tapering at the waist is so flattering, the length is great on my shorter torso, yet the sleeves aren't too long. I also must say that I messed up my return by using the label included in the package, but then creating a different return on my account (thus having the wrong tracking number) so I had no way of knowing if it had actually been processed. I contacted customer support and they were incredibly helpful and patient. When my return was eventually received and processed and I went into my account to purchase the correct size, they added one of their "recycled beanies" to my cart with the charge removed, so now I have a great winter jacket and a cute red hat to match.

It is loosing feathers like crazy. Don't know if this is normal.

Love the jacket but honestly hate the snap on hood. I get the concept but a zipper would be much better cause I feel like every time I move my purse around it it will unsnap and also when I pick the jacket up by the hood it snaps off. Other than that the quality of the jacket is amazing and I love wearing it.

The jacket is not as warm in area for winter, it light and more light a spring jacket. For the money it not worth the money.

Nice puffy! I had been looking for a black down jacket with a hood. I wanted to to love this coat but it just didn't do much for my figure. I'm 5'8" and 190 lbs. I ordered an extra large and it was too big. I liked the tapered waist but it just did not do anything for me.

Very warm and comfortable but the dawn comes out a little at the seams.

I love the fit of this jacket. It is also super comfortable and warm. The one negative is that the snaps that connect the hoodie to the jacket are very weak. They unsnap if they barely get bumped. Can't throw my purse over my shoulder without them unsnapping. The North Face, please fix this flaw!

Nice coat but I returned because it was to worm for me. Fit was great.

I'm 5'10 and ordered an XL bc of the sleeves unfortunately, they are still shorter than I wanted! Color is beautiful and material is very warm

This jacket is so warm on 35 degree and below days. I love the color. The only thing I would change is the hood. The hood is a snap on so it unsnaps easily.

I have a metropolis long coat that I have had for many years and absolutely love. I decided to buy the jacket as an addition to my winter coats. It appears that the quality is good except that the hood snaps do seem to snap off and are made of plastic. I never had this issue with my metropolis long coat hood. I had read reviews that some consumers are not satisfied because of this. Overall the fabric and fit seems spot on. I am 5'7" and 116 pounds and I purchased a small jacket which fits well. I couldnt wear a really thick sweater under the jacket as it would be too snug. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because I think the snaps are not the quality they used to be.

I love the style but it is small in the arms. I usually wear a medium but not i this coat. Very warm and nice quality.
