Great jacket, a little lighter color than I hoped

I like the jacket, always wear large, the color is a bit Easter eggish, and there isn't a drawstring at the waist. The hood is really big too! I'll probably keep it Fast shipping

The slim line of this coat is not enough to combat the excellent down fill power making one look much larger than the stock photo. I am pleased that the hood does tighten. I bought this style because I loved the look of chunky collar and hood. Upon trying the hood it covers down to your nose possibly restricting visibility. Also the cuffs are elastic but no inner storm cuff which is a deal breaker for me.The biggest negative is that the logo is not embroidered. It is printed on and will most likely peel off with time. I was thrilled the logo was tone on tone and not white on black with the huge contrast. Still on the fence about returning it due to the inexpensive looking logo.

Runs small. Would not be able to wear with a sweater underneath.

Jacket is very warm and looks good.I bought a size bigger. So the sleeves would be long enough. Plus i didn't want it to fit really snug.I didn't like the fact of the feathers coming out of the jacket after 3 wears. Within a week of receiving it. Especially for the price. I would not purchase this product against

Very disappointed in quality, particularly the hood which comes off very easily and constantly, by picking it up or hanging it on a hook. In less than a month feathers are starting to come out. Tiny zipper on pockets make them a little impractical. However the coat is warm and good in the wind.

I bought a metropolis parka years ago and love the quality. So i bought the metropolis jacket 12/21. So disappointed that the hood keeps unsnapping. So many negative reviews about the same issue.

I really liked the quality of this jacket. Top notch really. Great insulation, perfect amount of thickness, super comfortable. The things I didn't like so much were the look. The waist cinches to give you a more fitted look but it was still loose for me, I got a medium, but I also tried small and it fit better on waist but too small elsewhere. Also I loved the idea of a removable hood but it on your head just looked a bit strange. Doesn't sit very well. And lastly the back, don't like how it is longer in the butt area because one it covers your butt and 2 it would get dirty easily sitting as I had the white jacket.

Great jacket , only down fall is the detachable hood is not sturdy enough . Buttons do not secure , pops off often

I bought the jadite green for myself for an Idaho winter. I think it is warm and comfortable but the strangest thing: it has these strange stains that look like grease but they aren't grease. The fabric is somehow darkened in random places. I have washed it on gentle cycle several times and each time, I dry it on low with a tennis ball in the dryer. I got more aggressive and finally, out of desperation, soaked it in vinegar for a day before I washed it. Some of the stains were gone but new and differently shaped ones began appearing. My theory is that the feathers were not clean when the coat was assembled, but the stains are only on the exterior. The interior is fine. I don't know, but I am really disappointed. In addition, it's not the flattering fit I thought it would be, but I intentionally upsized, per the reviews.

I returned the coat! It was too tight for me!

I wear it as causal wears. It fix me great, but the quality not as expected. The jackets loses feathers so quickly.

This is a stylish everyday jacket. Unfortunately, the fit isn't great. I'm a medium in most outerwear items but this was too snug in the chest. Also, the zipper pulls are very tiny and they snag.

Nice however runs a lil small.

This jacket fits great and is slimming. I do not like the material because whatever falls on it, creates a stain and it won't come out. I've washed it many times.

I've never had a North Face coat and always wanted one. I finally splurged after having my eye on this one for awhile. The pros are Thats it's very pretty, flattering, warm, lightweight and packable. The cons are that the hood comes off every time I slightly touch it. Whether I'm putting my purse on or carrying totes it unsnaps. I haven't seen other reviews mentioning it and I'm wondering if mine is defective. Also the logo looks kinda cheaply applied. I wish the hood wasn't so prone to coming off. I've had to chase after it on a windy day. Ridiculous! I would leave it off but I want a coat with a hood.

This is a nice looking and warm jacket. But for this price, I'd expect no loose threads and proper waterproofing.

Jacket look exactly like photo. True to size. It is uncomfortable without a long sleeve you can feel the feathers.

This was a great coat, perfect length. It was a little tighter than expected from previous North Face coats. Consider sizing up.

Love how warm it is while being light, hate the detachable hoodie comes off so easily

casual for nice events. its lightweight but not too good with cold weather and the stores reps never gave us right info on the inventory.

The coat keeps you warm in extreme weather in which thats the goal. but the quality of the snap hood is horrible. cheaply made plastic snaps. pulled to snug and its a problem and the logo should of been embroidered on the coat instead of it seems like plastic words stamped on it. all in all i would of gave it 5 stars because it does keep you warm but that hood and the logo print...ugh. oh and i bought it in an xL I'm 212 fits good.
