This Parka Is Very Warm. I use It Here In Mn When I Am Out Doors Snow Blowing. There is A Big Difference From My Old Parka Is That It Has Snaps Instead Of Velcro!

Very warm and nice looking winter coat. Highly recommended.

Love the coat for its protection, but the hood is unusable! I'm 6'1" 220# but the hood appears to be made for a child. Covers half my head with forehead and ears exposed. Unfortunately removed it as it is not functional. Repeated queries to the company, no response.

The coat keeps you warm even under the harshest conditions.

Great jacket. It comes a bit bigger in size. I'm 6'1 and Large is so big, I'd recommend to go one size smaller. I went for size S since I don't like bulky clothes and fits great.

I was laughing on the chair lift in Vermont because it was so cold 5 and the howling wind was just bouncing off of it. It does run large; I recommend sizing down.

Bought the McMurdo for one of my sons and he loved it so much, that I bought it for the second one too! Great construction and I trust it's keeping my guys warm during the coldest days.

This was my first time purchasing a parka, and after extensive research and reading multiple reviews, I decided on the North Face McMurdo Parka. I'm very pleased with the decision. For reference, I'm 5'11"6'0", weigh 180185 lbs, and typically wear XLT shirts and 2XL regular jackets, mainly due to torso length rather than arm length. Sizing has always been a challenge for me, especially with outerwear. I chose the XL McMurdo Parka, and it fits perfectly. The length is ideal, providing excellent coverage without feeling oversized or restrictive. The shoulders and sleeves sit naturally, and the overall cut feels well-balanced for taller individuals. The parka offers a structured yet comfortable fit, which is impressive given my usual sizing difficulties. The quality is immediately noticeableheavy, warm, and clearly built for cold weather. For anyone who's taller and hesitant about parka sizing, I can confidently say the XL worked exceptionally well in my case. Overall, this parka exceeded my expectations, especially as a first-time parka owner. I'm very satisfied with both the fit and the build quality.
