I had to return these because they were a little tight. Maybe a half size larger would have worked but since I have to pay shipping to return them, I didn't want to try it.

Neutral colors, normal size fit, and very comfortable. I am still careful but I am more confident walking in hard packed snow and ice. Good grip on the souls. Excellent arch support. They warn you about walking in your home with these shoes on certain floors types. So, I won't push that option and stay off my floors. I park my shoes near the door.

Shoe is functioning as advertised- grips well. Comfortable as well.

I have now had these shoes for 5 years! They are my go-to footwear anytime that there is ice outside. After a couple of nasty spills in the past wearing other winter wear shoes, I found these and am a complete convert! They have also stood up very well over time, and are warm and sturdy. I also purchased the boot version a couple of years ago for when the snow gets deeper. Thanks LL Bean for a great product, and keeping me off of my hiney!!

These are great for walking on snowy roads and icy walkways. They are waterproof and keep my feet dry and warm. With gaiters, I can even snowshoe with them. I will put a lot of miles on these!

These boots grip the ice and don't slip. They are a bit stiff and I will need to break them in a bit. Well made.

I just got done shoveling light snow covering ice on my driveway. Part of it is steep and I usually have had to put on cleats so that I did not continually slip and fall down. NO LONGER. I feel silly - but I love these shoes. Not one single slip or slide. They are warm, waterproof and I have also walked up and down other steep places that are icy in my town - again not one single slip. They are wide - but so are my feet so that is not a problem.

Love the Artic Grip soles. The "sneaker" shape is a nice addition to my winter shoe wear. Also have the hiking boot version.

This is my second pair of snow sneakers. Had the 1st pair for several years. Only wore in fall & winter, too warm for summer. Never had wet feet. The new pair are also water proof and fit well. True to size and are comfortable. Wear with heavy socks for cushion and comfort. They are heavier than regular sneakers, more like a hiking boot weight. Takes a few times wearing to break them in. Great in the snow and on slippery surfaces.

I purchased this pair of shoes to replace a pair of Rockport XCS shoes I have worn out after ten years of use. The Rockport's were a waterproof brown athletic look shoe that wear well and keep my feet warm and dry in North Idaho where I live. I would have purchased another pair of Rockport's but they don't make them in brown anymore. I searched extensively before settling on these as a replacement. They are slightly heavier than the Rockport's, but not excessively heavier. The added weight is due to the arctic grip sole, which will help during ice season. I originally ordered these in a size 8, my normal size, but after trying them on they were just too big. I ordered a 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. Plenty of toe room and not squeezing the ball of my foot from side to side. I think they are super cute and other than being pretty darned expensive I have no complaints. BUT, if they last me ten years like the Rockport's did I truly can't consider them expensive, even at this price.

They are absolutely great, have walked on ice, no falling. I have recommended these to all my friends. All senior citizens should have the snow sneaker.

Using common sense I can walk without worry on ice to reach my bird feeders 100 yards down a sloping yard. A real life saver with the ice storm in Connecticut where its been five days of sheer ice in my back yard.

They are a stiff shoe,but for walking in snow they provide great ankle stability. I was able to take out the insole and put in my own arch support.Today I was out in 10 degrees F., and managed to stay out there for at least forty minutes while moving constantly.This is my second pair over a ten year period and they have proven to be great for a person with knee surgery and flat feet.BUT, they are not very attractive-so if you can overcome that part they are great.

Love boots and can wear when shopping. Legs do not get tired.

These snow sneaker are totally worth the money. Keeps your feet nice and warm. Also with the artic grip you feel more stable on ice. These are very well made shoes!

Yes,The Arctic Grip does help. It feels like you're wearing a sneaker but, you have the warmth and dryness of a boot. Felt a little stiff at first, but very comfortable after a couple wears. I live in upstate NY where winters are unpredictable, snow, sleet and ice but, I still love being outside walking with my dog. In past winters I have had some slips and a couple falls on icy roads and paths, but NOT since wearing these sneakers! Thank you.

Wow, these snow sneakers are amazing! Up until now I was slipping and sliding while walking in my New England neighborhood. Now I feel confident and secure while walking.

These snow sneakers have been maybe the best thing I have ever purchased anywhere. After falling 2 times in my own backyard on ice I didn't know was there, I found these on Bean and ordered them. Comfortable, maybe a little stiff. Large enough for a warm sock. Good support and have great traction, as advertised. They keep my feet warn and snug
