Excellent fit, these baby boots are great for rain and small snowfalls!

I ordered slightly smaller size first by mistake and sent the shoes back and LL Bean sent me the next size within a week.

I don't hesitate to walk into tall wet grass with my pup early mornings with these on.

great boot with ultimate traction, warm, best for cold climates, don't wear inside home (they warn against it), perfect for older people concerned about slipping or falling on ice or snow. Love 'em! True to size chart.

Great shoes! This is my second pair(first pair lasted 3yrs. of HEAVY all day every day wear). I bought my Boy a pair to use in the winter also. Good price..GREAT service.

Very comfortable, and fairly easy to slip on/off. I used these boots more this year than the traditional 'Lace up' 'Bean' boot because they were so easy to put on and off.

The grip of these excellent shoes approximates but does not quite match yak trax (or equivalent). I find them very useful in southern New England's climate of snow followed by rain and then ice. They are a fine innovation which I highly recommend.

Very useful outdoors in a cold climate - warm, never slips on snow and ice, fast easy-on and easy-off. Can't wear in deep snow because it's not a tall boot. Great for chores outside. Looks good. Durable, well-made and water proof. Great purchase!

Since I was a little kid, I've loved to slide on smooth surfaces such as ice. These shoes changed all that, NO MORE SLIDING. Arctic Grip does wha it's supposed to do, help prevent an old geezer like myself from slipping and falling. I keep them in the garage, ready to slip on (pun intended) any time i go outside

Originally purchased size 8, but after 3 miles the uppers had stretched to the point that they slide right off my feet. Reordered a 7 1/2 and after wearing them for several miles in various conditions, I'm loving them. I feel more sure footed when out in icy conditions, the arch support is really nice and they are stylish. I'm really glad I bought these, I keep them by the door to slip on easily whenever I need to run out to get something or for long walks in the woods with the dogs. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a great winter hiking type shoe.

They work just as described. They are as comfortable as a pair of L.L. Bean slippers (which I also have)

I bought these shoes to walk the dog on slushy and icy roads, they feel comfortable and I feel safer then walking with regular shoes or sneakers.

The Storm Chaser are just what my husband needed for a Pennsylvania winter. His comment was - Comfortable, safe, and easy to slip on. This is a true winner!

THE GRIP!! ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER. i put these on, went for a walk with my dog in the snow and ice. Never felt so confident walking in slippery conditions. As well, the more I walked,the more the shoe molded to my foot. The padding is awesome. The waterproofing is top notch. The comfort level is exceptional. But the sole? The grip? Like I said, a game changer. I would absolutely unequivocally highly recommend the shoes.

Sizing surprised me on this shoe. I have a pair of LL Bean Camp Mocs in size 9 that are a little big for me so I got the same in these shoes, thinking it'd be a good fit. Turns out I had to size up on these to 9.5 (what I wear in athletic shoes) and they fit perfectly. I've had a chance to wear these in snowy weather now (taking out the trash, walking from my car to a store, shoveling snow, etc.) and the shoes have performed admirably. I can't vouch for the arctic grip yet, but I also haven't actively gone out looking for icy spots to test these shoes on. I anticipate getting lots of use out of these boots!

They really work on the ice, as in real slippery freshly cut ice at a rink. I suggest they make the finger loops bigger so you can pull them on while wearing gloves.

I'm very happy with my purchase. If I would recommend one thing, it would be to have the buyer measure his/her foot and use that measurement to size the purchase.

Has all the quality and durability of a Bean's boot with the super tacky grip and is extremely light weight. I ended up getting the lace-up version because I need the ankle support. Excellent winter ice and snow boot!

Non-slip sole is what I wanted and what I got. Looks like it will wear for years. Treads collect a lot of mud so these will not be allowed indoors.
