I bought this pair of shoes for this winter because I slipped and fell a few times the past couple of winters. I bought them because of the Arctic Grip and I'm glad I did. About a month ago, I started to slip on ice and snow, but the grip of the shoes stopped me from falling. Then, the other day I slipped walking over some wet boulders and the same thing happened. I was moving too fast for the surface and started to slip but the shoes grabbed hold and I didn't fall. I don't know how else to describe it other than it reminded me of the way that anti-lock brakes work in a vehicle. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone who doesn't like to fall down and get hurt.

Warm, sure grip, fairly easy to slip on. Had to order size and 1/2 up to wear with wool socks. Run small even with thin socks.

Love the new Arctic Grip Storm Chasers !! Finally wore out my 4 year old pair of LL Bean Storm Chasers which I wear all winter long. Easy on / off shoe for wet, cold winter use. Thought my old pair was wonderful so I decided to give the new Arctic Grip as try.... wow, these made a great shoe design even better. Great grip on wet slippery, icy surfaces. Made the shoe even more practical and useful !! Definitely recommend

Had to go up a 1/2 size - ether my feet have grown or the shoes run a little small. But these are super grippy and very comfortable.

Best all around winter boot period! Great looking. Very comfortable (like a slipper) and warm. And the anti-slip Vibram Arctic grip tread works as advertised. I should mention that they're very waterproof. I highly recommend the Chaser. Especially if you're maneuvering in snow and ice.

I live in Maine but traveled to Colorado recently. I was limited on what I could pack and chose to just take a pair of slipon Oboz and my ice skates. We had a small winter storm come through and suddenly my shoes made me feel uncomfortable - I'm elderly and fear falling and breaking something. I got online and found these LLBean Storm Chaser Shoes with Arctic Grip. What a great winter shoe! I feel truly safe walking about in snow, slush and ice. Thanks LLBean for producing this item and keeping us all safer in the Outdoors.

These were a Christmas present for my son-in-law, he loves them.

Awesome fit. I normally take an 11 E. I was surprised 11.5 D fit perfectly. I was searching for a low cut duck boot that wasn't bulky and clumsy. This boot was exactly what I was searching for. A Duck boot that slips on and more like a real shoe. I would recommend this boot to everyone.

I have had several pairs of these down thru the years, and I always loved them. My most recent pair was given to me by my kids three years ago. This summer the tops started separating from the bottoms, and my feet were getting soaked. I sent them back (with a free mailing label) for repair or replacement. Within several weeks a brand new pair was sent to me (no charge) w/o any explanation. It seemed like the lifetime guarantee of years ago was back in place. Obviously, I was delighted! My kudos to LL Bean for GREAT customer service!

My last pair lasted 10 yrs or so. These fit perfect. Used them right away building a shed. Worked great as i was working in cold sandy ground. No sand got in like my regular shoes. Feet stayed dry on frosty grass ,love them. Will buy another pair next year so i have one nicer pair and a work pair. I have normal width feet toalmost wide. They do not have ee width but they would have been loose i think.

My son-in-law loves his Storm Chaser's! Wears everyday to work and they are comfortable for longgg days!

I love these shoes for quick runs to the shops, to grab the paper, walk the dog, or to perform many of the winter preparatory tasks that are on my to-do list. I've owned the tall lace-up version for some years, but this slip-on shoe version will work for most small jobs, including light shoveling. It's warm, water resistant, and the Vibram ice grip sole actually does work pretty well in specific circumstances, although you'll need to make a judgment call as to when conditions indicate you should switch to strap-on ice cleats. Another reviewer mentioned that this shoe is a bit loose in the heel. I found that to be true to some extent initially but after a break-in day or two, and with the use of a true boot sock, the slight slippage in my heel disappeared. To sum this up, this shoe is the perfect "special purpose" no-lacing winter pop-on shoe that I've been looking for over a great many years!

My husband wears these to work everyday, they last the longest of any shoe he has ever worn over the last 20 years. His feet stay dry. Very comfortable and maintain their appearance and integrity. One amazing shoe. He's been wearing them for years.

These boots are comfortable, warm, and best of all, easy to get on and take off. Best boots ever.

Very comfortable and perfect for our New England winters!

Amazing comfort, warmth, and traction in the slush, ice, and snow. After wearing them, bought a pair for my handyman and daughter. Curiously, the woman's version doesn't come with the tough,Vibram winter treads on the mens shoe.

Fit is true to size, ie I normally wear a 9-1/2 D shoe and boot and that's what I ordered and they fit (though snug when I wear a thick sock, but any bigger and I think the heal would slip). I like the slip on and the traction on snow and icy terrain seems very good, though I have not had them on slick ice. I've only had them about 6 wks and I live in Northern MN.

These shoes are very sturdy, comfortable and warm. Good chore shoes for my ranching operation.

Firm fit, good grip, waterproof. May require shoehorn.
