I normally wear a 7.5-8 size, D width in Brookes shoes. This was too narrow/tapered in the toebox, and despite being a size 8 D-width, my toes were all the way at the end and my forefoot was forcing the sides of the toe box out at least 1/2-3/4" over the sole.

This New Balance Fresh Foam shoe is below par for NB. The inner soles are thin and lack arch support. The shoes do not support my feet well. I can wear them for light activities but not for a workout or walking/jogging. The price was lower than most NB sneakers, but they're not worth the money. Before COVID, NB produced fresh foam shoes in narrow, and they had more support and cushioning. Now, I struggle to find narrow shoes with the proper support and cushioning.

I purchased this shoe, and the minute I opened the box they looked like they were size 7 what a joke it was and so disappointing. Like you cant even size up I got a 9.5 after reading reviews of sizing up thought I wasn't sure what size I wold be probably 13 with this shoe. Dont buy these shoes trust me something is wrong with the manufacturing of this shoe's sizing.

After reading reviews I decided to buy a 9.5 for my daughter and the fact the NB had wide, this shoe came today, and what a joke it literally looked like a 7.5 I knew it was so small as soon as I opened the box. So I guess to have 9.5 shoes fit I guess I needed to buy 11.5 + what a disappointment!

So the first sign of trouble was when I opened the box and the left sneaker did not have paper in it (right sneaker had it). That told me someone previously had purchased these sneakers, tried one on and then returned them. Second issue, and the one that explained why they were returned, was when I tried the sneakers on they were at least 1.5 sizes too small. Looked at the label and size was listed as 11 wide (the same size I have been wearing for over forty five years). Sneakers were mislabeled and despite having been previously returned no one at the company could identify the problem as to why these sneakers were returned…poor quality control. Love New Balance but will not be buying them at your company.

The toe box on this shoe is very tight. Also they squeak, unbelievably so! There is no way that I can wear them in public.

These shoes squeak constantly. It’s embarrassing to wear them outside of the house.

Asics have gone from bad to worse. The materials are cheap and scratchy. No padding in the tongue. Just a thin stretchy mess. Hard soles, no cushioning. I am so done with Asics.

material was not similar to my other Fresh sneaker. Laces were very short and very thin, tough to replace

I liked the material but it was too tight across my toes.
