This color faded grey green from wearing it few times. Very disappointing for cost

Been buying 860's for many years and loved them! Something has changed. Bought the Fresh Foam version and my feet hurt every time. Arch cramps, balls of my feet are sore. Thought it may need a break in period but I was wrong! Spent a lot of $ for a shoe I cannot wear. Now the search for a good shoe starts all over.

These shoes are not as supportive as indicated or as I thought. Took to my foot doctor and he said for me to return the shoes because of my ankle condition and I need sturdy shoes that are not too easily bend in middle.

These hurt my feet terribly. After wearing on my treadmill my feet were very sore. Too bad I can't return them as I threw away the packing receipt and box they came on. Costly mistake!

Wahhhh. The other model is way better. The only sneakers that have helped with my scoliosis and functional flat feet. I'm so sad you no longer make them. I'd buy 10 pairs.

I have worn 860 women's shoes for years and loved this shoe. The last two pairs I have ordered are not made with the same quality and workmanship. They hurt and have pressure points and I returned one pair because the left shoe was smaller than the right. So disappointed in this company.

I have two pairs of 860v11 shoes that I love. I was hoping the 860v12 would be just as good but unfortunately, after wearing them for 3 hours, my ankles hurt a lot! I am switching back my old shoes.

This shoe seems to run a little small and has a narrow toe box. Could have used more cushioning as well. This shoe was not a good choice for me.

Have always loved this shoe but they changed the heel and I do not like it at all! I work in a hospital and they barely lasted 6 months and the heel has completely split on both of them. These were my favourite and most comfortable show but will not buy them again.

I wish this shoe was sold in a 4E. It hurts my foot because it is not wide enough

The 860 v 12 is not working for me. I ordered my 8 1/2 EE and it felt a bit shorter and tighter/narrower in the front than the same size of my old pair of 860v11. I used the shoe for a few weeks but felt I was getting pain. I ordered the 9 EE and used it a couple of times but it is just too big of a shoe and my foot is sliding forward. The 860 v 9 was my favorite shoe and I wish it had not changed. I may have to try other brands now.

Do not like this version, does not support the foot, stitching poor and the base of the shoe tongue. Prior versions were better.

The sneakers are okay but you need or I needed to place arch supports within to make them work.

For being a 2E, it was too tight on my foot. I have a pair of 940 that are a 2E and aren't too tight. They have a hole by the big toe that I am trying to replace with not much luck. I was very disappointed. I liked the look of them. Please make more women's shoes available in 2E, 3E and 4E. I wear a 7 1/2 and it's almost impossible to find my width in the size I need!! I have worn New Balance for years, but in the past few years I have had a really hard time finding shoes in my size and width. Very disappointed in New Balance.

Simply cannot find 2A or narrower shoes. Please consider making at least 2 color. Notices annually for very narrow women runners

They changed the last between this shoe and the previous "Fresh Foam" that I had bought, and it is now too narrow in the front in the extra wide width

These run extremely tight. I have developed tendonitis in both feet due to how much pressure these shoes put on the tops of my feet. I could barely walk in the mornings when I first woke up due to the pain. Switched to an old pair of Nikes and in one day I am starting to have less pain. The worst New Balance shoes I have ever owned. Will be returning and replacing with the 860v11.

What are your designers thinking? PLEASE Listen to customer reviews! Bring back the V10! Your v11 and 12 are terrible. If you must update the V10, keep the exact design and last, then just change the colors. I will be happy to supervise your design team free of charge! I guarantee that if you bring back the same exact old v10, you will sell out in minutes I will preorder 5 pair in size 8.5 2E! I'm ready to switch brands.

The last 860v that I've been able to wear was version 10. v11 and v12 both had too much structure or non-flexing design details in the "bunion window" area. I need a softer, stretchable mesh in this area to accommodate my feet. Also, not happy with color choices. I order the black on black. I wish the sole had been white.

I have never written a review before about any product but now I feel that I must warn potential buyers of the problems with this particular style of NB shoes. As several customers have noted, the shoe is not sized the same as other NB shoes but that can be corrected by ordering a size up but another serious flaw cannot be corrected. The shoe laces can NEVER be replaced and, if you needed to replace or adjust the $2.99 laces, you would have to throw out the approx. $135.00 shoes. The holes for the laces are very small rectangles that just fit the flat laces for these shoes. However, all laces have round plastic material at the ends for threading the laces through the holes which, of course, will not fit through the small rectangular holes for laces in these shoes.

I have a pair of 860's that are almost 3 years old. I needed new sneakers and got these for Christmas and they're hard, stiff and very uncomfortable and they run smaller then my original pair of 860. I do not recommend.

I haven't been able to get the Fresh Foam 1080v11 for quite some time and thought I would try something new in the interim. I wanted to love them, but they are rather stiff and uncomfortable. They lack the cushion I need as I had spine surgery. I also have wide feet and orthotics and I found these to be a little on the narrow side in the toe box.

From the moment I put them on, my feet loved the 860v10. Sadly the 860 has been updated but not in a good way. The 860v12 (and v11, which I also ordered and had to return) is visibly narrower than the v10. Also, It feels like they completely redesigned the basic shape of the 860 model shoe. Before I found New Balance shoes it was impossible to get a running shoe that fit without being impossibly long. Most shoes are shaped in such a way that the toe area curves inward instead of staying in a straight line with the heel. The 860v 10 was built on a straight last, and New Balance stated that in their descriptions. It looks like the V12 is built on a curved last, and there is no longer any mention of shoe shape in any models now. Why do corporations always ruin what works well? I can go in any mall store and get a Nike or Reebok that gives the same terrible fit as the v11 and v12.
