I've had this shoe for 6 years - though the model number may change, it's fit and comfort dont!

I appreciate the color choices for extra wide width in this style. The fit is fine but there is almost no cushioning. I am keeping the shoes because they are cute, but will not be taking long walks or runs in them.

I have been wearing this model for many years. They are very comfortable and I wear them all the time. My complaint is that the colors in the V12 version are UGLY. I need a wide width and the colors are limited. I had high hopes with the V11 version having nice colors in wide, but once again it's back to few and ugly colors. I'm hoping my 2 pair of V11's last until the v13 model comes out. NEW BALANCE you can and should make better colors in all sizes and widths !

love the color combination, shoe is comfortable. Insole is very thin as others have noted. I took the thicker absorb insole out of my old pair and put it in the new pair for more cushioning.

In the past I wore and bought New Balance 9AA However, today this size is too small and my foot has not changed. These 9.5B fit pretty good with my orthotics inserted into them... Wish NB would be more true to size, esp with AA widths

So these are definitely better than v11. V11 were horrible. My favorites are v9 and this definitely feels like it's closer to that than v11. However these run small. I ordered my normal size and they felt small - so I measured and they definitely are smaller. V11 were super narrow and I had to order wides for first time. But v12 are at least back to a normal width. NB can you PLEASE stop messing around with these shoes. Im an avid runner - runners love their shoes and don't need lots of changes. Keep the sizing consistent and stop making changes!

I use these for long walks and working around the house. They're comfortable and supportive without being too squishy. I tried the 1080s first and found them to be so padded I felt unstable- these are a definite improvement. I wear a 7.5 2E and found them to be true to size. That being said, these come in so many fun colors for the regular widths, but the color selection in 2E is pretty boring. I bought the black with star glo and the color is okay, but I wish I had been able to choose from more fun colors. I realize the market for very wide women's feet probably isn't huge, but I can't imagine I'm the only one who needs this size who wants color choices beyond black and white!

Due to the overpronation of my right foot that was also creating problems to my ankle and knee, my foot and ankle specialist recommended a shoe to provide the stability and balance to correct my problem. New Balance was one of 3 he suggested. I tried all 3 and the NB was the most comfortable and provided the support I needed. This is the second NB shoe I have purchased to give me choices in color. I have seen a definite improvement in all areas of my right foot, ankle, and leg since wearing NB shoes. Both pairs are attractive and comfortable to wear and I usually wear them for more than 12 hours per day. I would recommend these shoes to anyone needing support and stability, especially for pronation issues.

I wear these shoes to work; I work in a nursing home. My feet don't hurt after a 12hr shift.

I have worn New Balance "forever" because they fit me the best. I purchased a women's size 8 wide. These shoes are cute and have very good support. BUT, the black sole up sweep at the toe is a problem. Three times it has caused me to catch my toe and stumble. When you are an 80 yr. old, stumbling is a problem. I would consider returning them. but I have obviously worn them. If I could get these with a flat sole, they could be perfect. New Balance, are you listening?

The shoes were great quality but I wear an XX Wide so the width did not fit me. That was the only reason I returned them.

I love the fit of this version that gives more room for your toes. The last version creased and created a new callous, so this is a huge improvement in my eyes. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star review is the color selection, which I know is just personal preference. I like black shoes, but I would rather not have them completely black.

Shoes are used for walking my dog and are comfortable I ordered a size larger than usual but I find them a little short. The wide width is very good.

I was a new user to New Balance when I bought the 860s a few years ago. I bought the 860 Fresh Foam 2 weeks ago. They're pretty good, just not quite as squishy as the originals. Still love them, though !

run small and heavier than most of my running shoes. Arch support minimal

I have been wearing New Balance for decades. I enjoy a nice powerwalk 5 days a week and love roam the botanical gardens and the occasional amusement park. My women's size 12 wide foot is hard to fit so I normally buy men's, even in New Balance, because they just feel better. I've been wearing men's 1080's ever since their inception because I love the fresh foam!! I decided to try these 860's because along with my big wide foot it's also quite flat so these had the foam and the stability!! Well, I ordered 4 pairs during the black friday period. This solid black pair and the dark teal ran a half size too short. I kept the other 2 colors but after several wearings, I find them too "stable", if that makes sense. They caused pain in my hips even with my orthotics! I can walk all day in the 1080's feeling completely aligned so back I go!!

I usually wear 1080s but wanted to try something different. I don't really care for the way they feel. A bit stiff and heavy to me.

The shoes were too narrow (yes I ordered a wide) and too short yet all my other New Balance are 9 Wide. Good looking shoe

I love my New Balance 860v11 - the fit is great, with wonderful support and comfort for long walks! Unfortunately, they are no longer available and so I hoped that the v12 in the same shoe would be a great replacement. This wasn't the case. This is a great shoe, however, it is a tighter fit than the v11. I ended up buying the 860 v13, as this fit much better and closer to the fit of the v11.
