I wear a 6.5 EE Woman's size shoe. I typically buy New Balance sneakers. Some fit well and some don't. These sneakers didn't. I had to return them because my toes were going numb because the toe box was wide enough. Sizing is not consistent.

Comfort is about the same as version 11 except the edge of version 11 didn't rub your ankle. The edge was very thin, and constructed in a way that it stayed slightly away from your skin. It was a wonderful trait for New Balance. Unfortunately, they did away with this great feature in version 12. The edge of the shoe now is thick and rubs on your skin, which means I may only be able to wear it on shorter walks. Please bring back this feature!

Nice looking shoe unfortunately I returned them. Good fit, but shoes didn't provide the stability that I need.

I purchased Fresh Foam 860 before, The laces used to be long enough to double knot...So far I have tripped three times on the laces which I can barely knot and be comfortable (I have a regular foot width and I am not overweight!).
Also shipping time is long...10 days. Needs improvement.

I'm not a runner, I walk my dogs daily on trails in these shoes. New Balance has been my brand for years because they make wide shoes for those, like me, who pronate. I'm sad that they don't offer these in 4E, but I'll take what I can get. My old shoes were wider, but they wore out and they don't seem to have stability or motion control women's shoes for 4E feet at the moment. Hopefully, they will produce some soon.

I love these shoes. The only thing I would change is making the toe box a little bit taller.

The only small thing is that they're kind of wide at the toes. Not a problem with comfort though. Best of all, they're all black! Yay!!

Too short. I wear a size 7 shoe, and ordered size 8 sneakers. My slightly longer foot still hit the end of the shoe. A disappointment.

I wish the shoes were more consistent in sizing. I have an extremely wide foot and this version does not feel as wide as others I have previously purchased. They also feel a little shorter in length. But New Balance shoes are still the ones that fit me best, short of going with a mens shoe, which I do not like.

I've worn this model for the past 18 months and still like the support, style, and light weight material construction. However, I guess New Balance decided to save 10 cents on each shoe and made the laces significantly shorter. There is absolutely no way you could ever use the topmost holes for extra support (although I never do anyway.) Until the shoe and the laces stretch a bit, expect to barely be able to tie the laces or buy longer ones. Also, wish New Balance would continue to offer "normal" colors for the womens shoes. The white and gray is nice, but not much to choose from otherwise unless you like glowinthedark 1980's style colors.

These feel great on my soles but for the top of my feet they seem snugger than I like even with adjusting the laces.. I'm hoping that with time they'll mold more to my feet. Thia hasn't happened before with other New Balance sneakers I have bought before, so I was surprised.

The shoe is very comfy. I have sensitive feet and the cushioning is great. The shoe for me runs short so I had to go up a size. The only problem is that the sides are higher and it hits my ankle which rubs and is uncomfortable. That's why I gave it a 4 star. Had to return them.

I have a burgundy, lavender and a multi color. I like the shoes, but they could be a little lighter in the weight kinda weighty

New Balance is always my favorite, but this shoe feels "minimal" and a little skimpy on cushion and support.

I have worn these shoes for at least a decade now. This shoe supports my weak ankles well. I like the changes to the back of the heel.
Cons
I am not fond of color choices. Why isn't the shoe pictured for sale?
New Balance text on the tongue is raised making it harder to tie shoes.
I am never happy with the quality of the shoelaces included. The laces twist. I used to buy the bubble laces but the laces are no longer being sold.

Disappointed in this model. The cushion is firmer, less comfortable, toe width is great but the toe depth is shallow causing rubbing/sore toes.

I had these shoes in the past, but they were version 11's. Very comfortable for standing long hours. Only issue I had was I ordered them and payed for 2 day air shipping and it took 5 days to receive the package, which would've been the same as free standard shipping. 20 dollars extra for no reason.

These shoes fit great (I bought them in wide width) and the toe box is comfortable also. Really good arch support and cushioning. I bought these to wear to work because I work 12 hour shifts, and my feet are flat, so I need something that fits really good and has great support, all of which this particular shoe has. Not sure if this particular style has the medial post in it, which most supportive New Balance has, but I feel like they don't because after a few hours, my ankles start hurting and rolling "inward" which is why I chose to stick w/New Balance in the first place. One thing I did not like when choosing to purchase this shoe, is the description of the shoe does not give you enough information as it would have in the past. Nevertheless, I really like this particular style and I will probably stick with it, provided you don't change the way it fits, unless you make that cushion last just a little bit longer. Please be sure to include everything about the shoe in the description area; whether is supportive or neutral so that the buyer is able to make an informed decision on their purchase before spending their money.

I have been wearing this style for years. They are so comfortable and the comfort is still there. The 4 stars is the quality. The toe area should be better reinforced. The last few pair I have worn a hole in the toe. Price of shoe - I expect a longer wear. I did shop around but this shoe is still my go to. So this last pair I placed a piece of duct tape at the toe for reinforcement.

I use my shoe for everything from working out to wearing them at work as a teacher. They are comfortable and seem durable. However, they have an unusual trait in that they squeak every step. I believe it is the friction of my sock with the shoe around the top of it.

THe shoe itself is very comfortable and fits well. Since I have a grandson graduating from college int he near future and I don't know how much walking will be involved for this 80 year old woman....the black on black is fine......For the rest of the year when I'm dressed casually, I'm very annoyed that there are no narrow widths available in size 10 in the other colors. My old one are the aqua green and I like them very much, but they are broken down and need to be relaced. Don NOT like BLack sneakers.....other than for the commencement....but other colors would also have worked...
