These are good shoes. I got them in wide and have worn them for walking for a couple weeks now and they feel comfortable and do not hurt.

This shoe is comfortable, and I love the vibrant sky blue color option! But the laces are incredibly short. I tried reaching out to CS for help, but had no luck. Finally ordered some normal 45" laces that will hopefully be the right color (the bright blue is tough to match through a screen), and should make it easier to wear this shoe without issues. (This was a 2nd pair I ordered on the same day that arrived with unreasonably short laces. Other pair was the 880 line. What's up, NB?) As with all NB shoes, I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear in other brands, and the fit is great.

Last year I bought the New Balance Fresh Foam 860 v11 and it turned out to be one of my favorite shoes ever. So when they started wearing out naturally I went to look for the exact same shoe. Well to my disappointment I could not get the 860 v11 anymore so I decided to purchase the v12. I figured it was just an update to an already great shoe right? No, they changed my shoe! The best part of the V11 was the design of the back/heel of the shoe and they completely changed it. Gone is the comfortable yet supportive foam and instead the heel is hard and stiff. Also the Fresh Foam just seems a little stiffer in these shoes. I would have returned them but honestly I couldn't find a better shoe. I cannot express how disappointed I am that they changed this feature of the shoe. I am wearing them and they are a decent shoe but every time I put them on I am disappointed with New Balance.

I use these for running. Unfortunately, I had to pass them on to my daughter because they run slightly shorter than my NB v880. I've been wearing NB for more than 20 years and have worn the NB v860 before. It's possible it was just this particular batch that ran small.

3rd pair I have bought this year, they are so comfortable, specially after I broke my ankle and had surgery last year. This is the only shoe I can wear comfortably the whole day at work, where I usually stand for most of my 8 hrs. The only thing is, my last pair seems to be fit a bit tight even though I bought a wide pair. Maybe next time I'll go up half a size.

This shoe feels like walking on a cloud. Super comfortable. 4 stars because the foam sole absorbs water (in my case from small puddles) and when you walk, as you step, the water squirts up. Not so cool. Gotta fix that! But i'll keep wearing them on sunny days.

I have been wearing either the 860's or the 880's for years. This particular 860 has the wonderful support it's known for, but the shoe itself is not as comfortable as previous ones, it's very stiff. I would return these for the 880's if I hadn't already worn them.

I love my new shoes. Have been wearing New Balance 860v...... For years. They are so comfortable and now have "fresh form." Am anxious to see how the "fresh form" wears.

Extremely comfortable I still like the 990 but was not able to get in the store it's a on line purchase only. But how can we try on a online purchase and since the 990 are close to $200 that is not fair to the consumers. So I bought the 860 to replace the 990

I am a runner. This shoe is great however I feel the foam compresses quickly. I can usually only get close to 150-200 miles out of these shoes, before I notice a change in comfort compared to previously made shoes. The exterior and bottom of shoe are tough. Shoe is great but looses interior support soon than I feel it should.

I use these sneakers on long walks on city streets and also forest hikes. Recently did a fairly steep rocky trail. They provide good support for my old feet and lots of room for my bunions (I wear D width but even the regular width is roomy). I did size up half a size to 7.5 from my usual 7.

I wear a 10.5 in just about every kind of running shoe out there. I have a new balance other style running shoe in a 10.5 that ive been wearing for about a year now. Disapointed that these felt like they ran a half size too small. Arch support felt nice under my flat foot but my toe was almost at the very end and left little wiggle room. So i had to return these. I put these up to my other nb shoe and they arent as long. Still waiting on my refund. Am considering purchasing again but will be ordering an 11 next time. My foot is 26cm long if this helps.

I love how supportive these shoes are on my problem feet. I would have given 5 stars, but the laces that came on these are so much shorter and skinnier than in the past. I don't know if it was a cost-saving issue or a supply chain one, but if you don't double knot the laces come apart. It takes extra time to double knot them because they are so short it's not that easy to do real quickly!

I have been buying that style #860 for years but the previous versions before V10 were less tight around the toes they had more space but I hope that the next version will be like it was.

Very comfortable and supportive which is what I need right now. BUT I wish NB would offer this level of comfort in more fashionable styles and colours. They don't seem to follow current trends.

I would give a 5 star but need a few more walks. I need that wide toe box and after long walk, right foot had a bit of rub. But I will change up socks. The cushioning of thick sole is delightful. I love the choices of NB and the fun colors as well. Always a good choice.

I love the Fresh Foam shoe, this one seems a little different than the last one I purchased. However, I have to wear very hard custom orthotics and it may just need breaking in a little. I can wear my previous 860's all day and my feet never feel tired and it helps my senior citizen body keep on going. :)

I have gotten the 860's for years. This years is more of a square toe which is great for the toes but now that I am wearing them some they feel larger than my previous 860's I thinks it's the square toe. I will try a half size down next time. Hopefully those will fit my arch better

Overall this is a great shoe, very comfortable. Compared to other 860's v12 runs very short. Ended up going up a full size larger.
