The Toe Box is wide enough for my wide foot (14-2E) and you can remove the insole to be able to put your orthotic in and off you go. the Fresh Foam gives you that extra cushion for a little more bounce - you can wear them all day!! they are a little tiny bit on the larger side but that's ok with me.

Form are not comfortable. feel like normal hard form. And i buy for my heal pain but as usual is not comfort form.

The shoes feel great and I got a lot of compliments about them

These new V12's are the most comfortable shoe I have worn to date. I broke my right foot racing motorcycles back in the 70's. New Balance is the only shoe I have worn since then because they have the toe box width I need to not pinch my toes and cause severe nerve pain. Thanks New Balance for always coming through for me with comfortable shoes.

The 860 is probably a good shoe but I was looking for a replacement for my 940's ( No longer available) and they were a no go for me. The return was very easy.

This is the third 860V12 I bought within the last 8 months. For the past 13 years, I have used 860, 2E with perfect fit for my wide left foot. The design or measurements have changed in V12 - changed so dramatically that even the 4E of 860V12 is not fitting my feet anymore. I have no idea why a product would be changed to narrow down its targeted users. Because, that's what happened - I am done with NB 860, moving onto some other brand, like HOKA.

Used the old 840v3's for both running and daily walking, went through 4 (or5?) pairs. Decided to go for a pure running shoe this time, the 860, and absolutely LOVE them; so much lighter than 840's, and absolutely beautiful "aluminum" color. The shipping time was almost instantaneous: the shoes arrived the same day as the notice that they'd been shipped.

Very comfortable while walking

I normally buy ASICS Kayano for long distance running. I decided to check out other shoe brands because I was not really liking the new features/designs that Kayano was receiving. I bought this shoe based on reviews from various runners and also because of the price point, color and width options. I have run in these shoes three times already (total 20 miles) and I am very satisfied. It is very comfortable and I did not have to break it in--it felt broken in already. I highly recommend this shoe as it has many colorways and width options. My only regrets are I did not buy it sooner AND I should have bought two pairs!

They are my go-to running shoe.

Out of all the "Foam" shoes NB makes the 860 is my favorite. This shoe is only second to the 940 in terms of comfort. The V12 is a big improvement over the V10 and V11 models. I wear a Wide shoe so I hope the V13 is just a bit wider in the shoe box. If the 860 is ever going to surpass the 1260 or even the 940 the shoe still needs more cushioning for heavier runners. One more thing, please include longer shoelaces as they are the shortest of any NB model.

I liked the color of the 880's I bought this past winter. They lasted me about 6 months, and it was time for new ones. However, the 860's were the only model with the color I liked. They are not nearly as stable as the 880's. Stopping quickly tends to put more pressure on my ankle, almost like the 880's had a lower center of gravity? My advice is if you like the 880's--don't go to the 860's. If you like the 860's--try the 880's.

I have had new balance running shoes before but we his ones are not as light as the previous ones. Still comfortable though

Overall buying process was positive, but the sizing was off of what I expected. I usually wear 11-12 so I went for a 11.5, but that was way too big.
