I have owned more than 12 pairs of 860s and loved every pair (v11 heals were a little suspect but NB supported their product). I am an average runner and typically run 30 - 40km per week on both hard surface and some light trails. I have used these shoes in 1/2 and full marathons and have never had issues. I usually train in them for approximately 600km. Great fit, great quality, great product.

style is a little dated. The toe box seems narrow for a EEEE. Barely enough shoestring to tie. Overall the quality is OK but a little off from what I would expect from NewBalance

I just started wearing them, and I am hopeful that I do not have to wear my shoe inserts because my toe rubbed a hole in the toe of my last pair in about 6 months!

Honeslty the most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn. In the military we used NB in recruit training and I thought they were incredibly comfortable; these 860v12 are light years ahead of those I recieved in rt. I've always gotten basic running shoes that were never wide enough and with the "wide" option they are absolute perfection. They may feel a little bulky (not a problem to me, just thought it should be mentioned if that bothers anyone else) when using them as "lounging-around," shoes but running with these shoes is great. 100% worth every penny

Need stabilty shoe and confortable toe box and this shoe has both. Ordered medium and 2e wide. In process trying to decide which width is the best to accommodate my assorted foot problems.

Nice color and style. I ordered my usual size in NB and these were at least a full size larger and enormously wide in the toe box.

A very nice walking shoe. The wide was actually wide across the toes and normal at the heal, which is the way that wide human feet are shaped. The sole provides a lot of stability for walking.

So disappointing. I've been wearing size in NB for years and just can't seem to find anything that fits anymore. Nice color and material, but this model is so long/wide and ridiculously large in the toe box that they look like orthopedic shoes.

Fit and comfort are fine. It's just that... the white version smudges to the extreme. It's like wearing a sock around on pavement instead of shoes. I'm pretty shameless in terms of what I'll wear, but even I get embarrassed wearing these. Maybe they'd be fine if you got a dark color?
