This is my 8th pair of shoes in the last 10 years and I know I can trust in the quality and comfort of New Balance shoes. I've yet to disappointed.

I get New Balance for my son and grandson. They're never disappointed. Great service, easy ordering, and prompt delivery.

The 860 is my go-to shoe for comfort for wide feet, with lots of box space for toes. It stays fairly light in weight so it's a great performance shoe for me, and I'm able to run half-marathons in it with comfort and ease. I buy 2 pairs per year with all the running I do (4x per week).

Needed an extra wide shoe with good support. I have tried many other brands, but came back to New Balance. This shoe really is the best shoe I've worn. I walk 4kms each day with my dog and my feet are not sore. They fit great. I love the back of the shoe which protrudes outward on the top. Saves any chance of rubbing against the heel. It's by far the most expensive shoe I've owned, but after walking in them for over a month, It's well worth the money.

I've been wearing the 860 for years. The latest version is great - this is my second pair of the V12. Fits great. Rides beautifully. My first pair of V12 lasted well. I'll wear Borge for a while. Of course, there's nothing like wearing that good fitting new pair of shoes for the first few weeks.

I wear em as dress sneaks. I'm a big guy it's hard to find proper fitting shoes.

I'm a relatively non-athletic person with flat feet that overpronate. I've been using them for jogging and city walks and noticed I naturally step more on the outsides of my feet with these, all while still getting a comfortable foamy experience. They also look pretty stylish! I don't mind wearing them out in the city.

Compared to V11, the 860 V12 feels a lot heavier on the foot and it's chunky. Really chunky. The sole in the toe box is stiff and takes time to break in. I know some people didn't like the molded back on the V11, but the heavier fabric and "counters" of the V12 are not an improvement and feel stiff. While the V12 has great lateral stability, the V11 was a much better shoe overall. I wish I had spent my $$$ money on old stock V11s.

I wear these shoes for walking and casual wear. They are attractive, comfortable and well made. Nice shoes but nothing extraordinary. I have several pairs and wear them fairly frequently. They fit to size. A nice shoe for a fairly high price.

Due to a leg injury I've been wearing 860s, size 9.5, EEEE, for the past 13 years to accommodate a leg brace. Same boring colors year after year. You finally put some colors into this size. I'm wearing the lime green. By the way, these are great shoes - very comfortable.

Never will buy from NB these sneakers hurt my feet a waste of money

I bought this shoe for a jogger. The sizing and width (X-wide) are a perfect fit. They're comfortable during runs with a good amount of cushioning and support. And the variety of colors available in a wide variety of colors made picking the right color easy.

The tongue of the shoe is no longer attached. It's free floating, which I'm sure some people like, but the tongue now slides to the outside instead of staying in place. I know, trivial, but I don't like it. I wish the description had mentioned the change in this version, cause I would have made a different selection.

These are good shoes. I would give a 5 star except they are not true to size as past New Balance have been. I have worn New Balance shoes for over 15 years and have not had an issue until now on sizes. I had to return and re-order for a larger size.

This shoe is lovely and is like walking on a cloud. My only issue is that its sizing does not match other NB shoes. This shoe runs small, both in length, and width. I'm normally 10.5 EE. With 840's that size is a perfect fit and match my rockports and brooks, but with this shoe, I needed to order an 11 to match the toe length and am still not 100% happy with the width of the shoe. X-Wide is too wide, but the wide is just a touch narrow. I'll stick with these because I love the ankle support, but I wish NB sizing was consistent. Don't say it's EE if it's E, don't say it's 10.5 if it's a 10...

A great looking shoe, but a bit heavier and stiffer than my previous New Balance purchases, including the New Balance 680v6. The 680v6 was lighter and more comfortable right out of the box. I have only had the Fresh Foam 860v12 for a few days . Hoping they break in soon

Surprised the fit is better than my previous 2 pairs.hopefully the soles will last longer

I have very flat, wide feet and generally have trouble finding running shoes that work. The 940 has been my choice for years, but wasn't available in my wide size, so I tried the 860. I think the foam gives more cushion and slightly less support, but not enough to cause problems. The mesh upper is significantly lighter and more airy, though I'm a little concerned about longevity. Overall, I am happy with it.

They are perfect! In fact, I told the Director of Security at the hospital I work at and she told me to take a picture of them so she could see what they looked like. I said, "why would YOU be so interested in a picture of the shoes? And she replied, "because, maybe I'll buy the same pair! I was shocked! These shoes are perfect! I only need a pair of socks and no additional padding is necessary. As far as, inserts or insoles. I can just grab my shoes and go! Thanks, New Balance!

If I wanted to walk on half of a basketball I wouldn't be buying a running shoe. See picture
