These V12's are the perfect fit for me. I had used the V7's thru V10's and stopped at the V10's because they were terrible. These are GREAT. However, the laces are too short (not so on the earlier pair bought in January). I would recommend!

I tried another shoe in the NB line but after a month I returned to the 860. It's a shame it's not less expensive. I will be a customer as long as this shoe is in stock an the color black is produced.

My favorite color is orange. Unfortunately these shoes - which by the way are the best I've ever purchased from Zappos - are a shoe of a different color. So. I'm returning them, and separately ordering the blue ones. Great that those are available in a 9.5 AND extra wide, which is the most important. But overall, the comfort is great.
I'd also recommend:
None - Since New Balance appears to be the best for wide feet.

I walk 4-5 miles every morning, no running. I’ve been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus and Kayano’s for years but lately the soles wear down quickly. The New Balance looked like they would hold up better and so far no complaints.

Overall, pretty good. I wish there was a bit more cushioning in general, but overall a stable shoe. I also greatly appreciate NB’s accommodating wider feet (these were the x-wides). Now, please allow all colors for x-wide feet in your 1080v12!

I haven't like the look of the last few versions of the 860 and instead have gone with the Vongo v5 (which is awesome) however when I saw the white/apricot/orange color I had to have it. These are super comfortable, plenty supportive and look awesome. My foot is a little wider yet the regular width works fine. I do take a half size up from the Vongo v5 though.
