As usual, the NB shoes fit perfectly in the way I have come to expect. I need at least a EE shoe, and the lattitude of size choices from NB are one of the rteasons I have been a fan for many years. I love to walk, so keep a pair of shoes dedicated for that purpose and replace them as required, and I often opt for shoes designated as running shoes for that purpose. To this end, I always use the lock lace method of tying them to ensure they will not come loose. The pair of NB Fresh Foam X 860v12, although provided with the double eyelets to utilize a lock lace knot, came with a very short set of laces. I had never seen laces this short on a pair of NB shoes before and was quite disappointed in their length and seemingly less substantial quality.

For now, I use them for my runs and to work because they are comfortable not tight.

I bought these as backups to the neon green pair I am currently wearing. I use these as my walking shoes so all the neighbors know who I am when they see me in green shoes and my matching neon green ball cap.

I have 2 other Models (990 and 880) in 11 4E size. those 'Models" fit me. This pair of 860s is formed too ' TIGHT,' and do NOT my feet! Even the shoe laces that come with the shoes are made too short to tie.

Very comfortable and the foam cushioning is amazing. I feel like I am walking on air. The fit is a bit snug, but should loosen with wear. My only complaint is the laces need to be longer. Almost too short to tie and it can take several tries to securely tie each shoe.

I have a arch issues so the New Balance are the best shoe I found to help with arch

I truly love this shoe. Being someone who is flat footed and pronates this shoe truly helps me, it accomidates my orthotic well to. I do NOT love this shoe as much as I loved the v11.... sadly. Why change a good thing? I love the new heel design and padding but here are some aspects I am not happy about. 1.) the tongue is not secured like it was on the old shoe, therefore the tongue moves around and its extremely annoying:( 2.) the new lighter material just does not seem as sturdy as the v11 material around the toe box. 3.) the overall look of this version is not as sporty as the v11 it seems more old fashion looking, the reason I love the v11 so much was because of the sporty look and way it just fit on the foot. It has made me have a love hate relationship with this version of the 860. I really love this shoe but why do you have to make changes to something that so many of us love? I sure hope you guys take these reviews seriously and make v13 a better fit. I love NB I do not want to switch shoe companies!!!!

My running now is just above shuffling, but the walking speed is high! These shoes are great. I have had lots of NB shoes over the years, and the fit is great, not too much overpowering toe box roll and good stability for an over pronator.

I have been wearing this series since it was 766. It's done my feel well on 5K's up to marathons. They are well cushioned and the toe box doesn't cause blisters. Great fit and feel!

These are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever had!!

I wish more 4e width shoes from new balance came in colors like bright orange, bright red and neon green. I see these colors available but not in 4e width very often. I hope this will change in the future. Thanks

I developed a moderate case of tibial tendonitus, left foot. I'm middle aged, at least and this has brought about a fallen arch heading towards flat footed. My first visit with my podiatrist, he promptly told me to get something with a medial post to start with. As a suggestion, he showed me what he wears, NB 860's. Took this advice for a starting point, ordered a pair and found this "medial post" shoe/sneaker with the very support I needed. With this great support, my limping has reduced significantly and my gait is more normal. Quite surprised at the immediate difference. Hoping over time to repair the tibial tendonitus. I've been a NB guy for years and just recently realized I simply had to change the necessary support style. 860's are it for me!
