The 840 is my perfect shoe and the v5 is no exception. I need neutral cushioning and also have high arches.

Comfortable with good arch support - and roomy enough I can add my own supports when needed. Toe box is generous too

Started wearing the V3, and then graduated to the V4s. Changed from V3 to V4 was noticeable, and fairly positive. Changes from V4 to V5 aren't major, ver small, but enough to be annoying. Smaller slits to where you can't easily do a heel lock (you can hardly push the shoelace through!). The V5's are at least a half size smaller. For the first time, I ordered a pair and realized I needed to size up. Previous versions fit true to touch.

For me who has neuropathy, strange feet and plantar fasciitis these sneakers are perfect. The wide toe box is great. Glad to see they finally made a new addition. My only wish would be for more colors.

I tried a new model. I've been wearing 880 v8. I'll have to go back to them.

I try to walk 3 miles a day and by time I'm on my 2nd mile my arches are burning. Lots of pain

Quality of shoe great but, it was too wide so had to return them. I do have them in black and they came in a narrow width.

The 840 has been my go to running shoe for 2 years. The wide toe box has been a game changer for me! This is the only running shoe that is comfortable. Between running and walking I put 75km on these every week. NB please produce these in other colours and in Gortex!

would like to see the sole shape - straight or semi-curved or curved. Some of us need a curved last, and it helps to see that shape before going to the trouble of purchasing and then returning.
