I like the shoe design, but it is too heavy makes my legs ache. New balance use to make great shoes but now they're uncomfortable to me . I need shoes I can work in.

Could of probably taken 10 1/2 but New Balance doesn't make a 10 1/2? Eleven would be too large. It seems to run short to my old 840's as they are a perfect fit. But I need alignment to keep my foot in place and wide seems to be correct size in width.

No cushion in the front of shoe. Was not satisfied.

I ordered wide but they are not tho it says wide. Too much hassle to return

Wear them every day. Can add orthotic insoles. Very comfortable.

They are my everyday shoes. I have arthritic feet and need very supportive shoes. The best!

Love this shoe! Recently developed Achilles tendonitis, so if you are suffering from this, the 840 has been a heel saver for me, maybe it will help you too!

The shoe fits overall, but returning because the back of the shoe is so low it feels like it is falling off.

I love my new New Balance shoes. Very comfortable with a great arch support.

I have very wide, big feet. These fit great. They are comfortable all day, and help me keep balanced too. I am older with some challenges but find that I am comfortable walking and getting out of the house. I wasn't sure if they would fit....but they do and I am happy with them.

It's like I'm running on clouds! These shoes are super comfortable. Love them!

I'll admit, wore my v4's yesterday and found them more comfortable than the v5's. Both still do the job.

I've bought New Balance for years. I own maybe 40 pair right now. These are the most comfortable New Balance I've ever worn. My feet are pronated and I have flat feet (no arches). I love, love, love these.

I like this shoe. I have 2E width shoes, so it can be hard to find comfortable and cute shoes. The colors are prettier in person too. I had to lace these shoes up differently so my heels wouldn't slip in the back, so the laces are a little short because of this. They're supportive for my flat feet and lightweight. I'm really happy I ordered these!

Great fit and stability and looks great..

After several foot surgeries, I've had a lot of problems finding shoes that I can wear. A couple years ago I discovered the New Balance 840 series. They became my go to shoes very quickly. In fact, I love them so much, I wanted another pair. None of those specialty shoe stores around here had them in stock. One shoe salesman said it's a "very specific shoe." So I ordered directly from New Balance. My shoes came quickly and they fit exactly as I expected. I will be buying more.

These shoes are very comfortable. I wish the laces were longer and thicker.

Not as comfortable as I thought they would be. Pretty roomy inside.
