I have had toe and foot pain for a long time. Found these and I am able to walk my 3 miles with no pain. TY.

My hammer toe doesn't hurt like it did !

I received this shoe upon high recommendation the night before our Disney trip. The shoe was so comfortable that I wore it without a break in period for eight days straight. We walked over 20k steps daily and not once did I have any discomfort. I have purchased a myriad of shoes and sneakers that I can only wear for small increments of time so the Altra Torin 5 Luxe was an answer to prayers. I had relief from bunion pain and arth issues. I had no need for bandaids on my heels and I had no knee, back or IT band pain. I LOVE these sneakers!!

My toes were suffering in my Hokas. My toes were pinched & not allowed to lay free of restraints. I did web research & felt comfortable purchasing these shoes. Felt comfortable the moment I put them on out of the box. I walk mainly on concrete. This morning I walked 3 miles & was super pleased. Thank you

My podiatrist and foot surgeon want me to wear these. These shoes should be labeled lavender rather than purple. I don't use the shoes for running. As a result, having some without the ventilation would be nice for winter in Wyoming.

I don't often write reviews but feel compelled to because some of these reviews appear to be on the Torin 5, not 5 Luxe. This is a great shoe. There are no issues with the tongue. Great balance between cushiness and stability. I have arthritis in knees and feet. This shoe has been the answer for me!

I find that the foot shape helps with both my bunions and my knees. My stride is more natural for my knees, and the foot shape helps my feet to be able to sit comfortably in the shoe. I wear them every day, so take this last comment with that information. I wish that they lasted a bit longer.

I walk several miles almost every day and Altra's have saved my feet! The wide toe box and the plush footbed have kept my feet feeling great after every morning walk.

I walk in them everyday without pain now!

I have several malformations in the toe areas of both feet and cannot put too much weight on those areas. My podiatrist suggested Altra shoes and these are my second pair. So much more comfortable for walking and standing than any other I've tried because of the 0 heel and the wide toe box.

I love my new Altra Torin shoes! I have arthritic feet and these shoes have the best cushion and wider toe box, to make my feet HAPPY!

I discovered Altra when my husband had a surgery and was hospitalized for a couple of days. All the nurses were wearing Altra tennies. These are people on their feet all day, so they are looking for comfort. I am 68, active, and though I no longer run, I can walk fairly fast in our neighborhood in the mountains. As you age, gravity makes your feet flatter and wider. The Altra toe box is just perfect for older feet. Comfort, support, and you feel like you are barefoot. A feeling of contact with the ground at heel and toe is much better for balance than the 'platform' sneakers that claim to give you cushion, when actually it is much easier to turn an ankle when suspended a couple of inches above the ground. Love Altra for humans of any age and activity!

I used these shoes for fast walking on dirt trails, city streets and at the beach! Great support and wide toe box allows for full use of my big toe when walking. Also great heel support. Love these shoes. I have 4 pair of the same shoe. My friend bought a pair. I bought a pair for my daughter. Great shoe recommended by Gait Happens!!

These are much better than the regular Torin 5! The tongue is a huge improvement. The shoe feels very comfortable and responsive. Felt great on their 10 mile maiden voyage.

I take long walks for exercise. This shoes are a relief after having shoes that were too flat in the toe box. My toes are having a party! They also fit my high arches well and provide enough cushioning.

In my opinion these shoes run a half size small. Ordered a 10.5 and no regrets. These shoes support my super flat feet 8-16 hrs a day. I wear compression socks with them at work, and my feet feel amazing, also feel like they have helped my posture ten-fold from the support that starts in the heel base. The Torin Luxe beats the pants off any Brooks or Asics model I have ever bought.

Great running shoe. It provides good cushion and it is light. Definitely recommend and LOVE that the shoes are made in the USA!

This is my favorite Torin yet. So comfortable and fit great. I used them for walking and standing on my feet for longer hours.
