These brand of shoes are extremely comfortable. I am on my feet all day and I prefer this brand over any other!

I'm a rural carrier. On my feet for hours a day. In and out of vehicle over 75 times/day. We are required to wear tie up, leather shoes. These are approved and are amazing. Fit well, light weight, and cradle your feet. Makes the day much better. Wish they came in blue, and other colors.

It's really hard to find a comfortable shoe for someone with a wide toe box and narrow heel. These felt amazing since day 1, I can finally be on my feet all day long without pain!

I WORSHIP these shoes! I'm a GM in the restaurant world and these save my life. I clock 20k steps a day in these for 6 months and then buy a new pair. The days these aren't produced anymore will be the end of me.

Work all day in comfort. Knees feel better. Love how soft the leather is. Nothing negative to say.

This is my 4th pair of the Torin 5. Though I don't have a wide foot, I prefer the extra room due to peripheral neuropathy and 2 surgeries for Morton's Neuroma. They have superior cushion in the sole. Though there is no arch support, the inserts lift up so you can use orthotics. I even wear these as house slippers! Praying the never quit making the Torin 5

I am buying my second pair after wearing the first pair for many years. Best most comfortable shoe ever. If you find you re feet hurt when you wear a pointed running/walking shoe these ones will feel comfy and right.

I have been searching for a walking shoe that is light in weight and feel but still has a lot of cushion when standing and walking. I finally found that in this shoe. It fits like a glove, is extremely lightweight but yet has such a cushy feel when walking I can't understand how Altra did it. Also, regarding the fit, I have a narrow heel and a wider forefoot and many shoes just aren't the right fit. I have tried a wide width in some shoes but then the heel is a bit loose but the medium width is tight in the forefoot. This shoe fixes that issue for me, with the medium width fitting my heel perfectly but also providing a wider (not wide like D widths) forefoot which I need. This is my first pair of Altra shoes and I am very happy with them.

I think this is my favorite Altra shoe. I've tried 5 different styles but this shoe works best for me. I like the original footshape and the fact there is a wide size. It has held up better than the other Altra shoes I have purchased.

Using this for everyday getting around plus walking exercise. I have never had a more comfortable shoe. I have about 5 different styles of Altras, but for some reason this is the best for me.

These are one of the most comfortable shoes I own. No quality issues. All black leather makes for a nice shoe.

My podiatrist recommended these shoes. I thank him and you for these wonderful shoes. They are the most comfortable ever. I loved the black leather version so much that I went back and bought another pair. I recommend you to everybody, even those who don't have foot problems. A young, fit yoga teacher in my Tai Chi class tried some on my recommendation and said they were the most comfortable shoes ever. A lady in my Sunday School class bought some on my rec and was thrilled with them. Never stop making them.

My podiatrist recommended this brand. I liked them immediately. I am disappointed that the tongue is suede and it makes the shoes look warm to me. But who is looking at the tongue of my shoe. Immediately comfortable on day one. Will likely buy again.

I am going into a second winter season with these wonderfully comfortable and stable shoes. I had to order them in Wide, because the Standard foot shape is too narrow for my bunions, and I love a little extra room in the toe box anyway. I have not had problems with the soles, and I walk on gravel as well as asphalt and cement. Suggestion/Request: Please make this shoe without the pressed indentations in the leather on topthey collect dirt and make it difficult to keep the shoes clean. Also a smooth leather finish would look dressiera plus for a shoe that I want to wear to work with nice slacks.

I am a 66 year old woman who loves these shoes for walking. Can you make them in some pretty colors?

This is the first time I have tried altra shoes. I wear 2 different size shoes due to polio as a child. I have a fused ankle and need a flat shoe, so the altra brand is a great fit for me. I like the leather as there is more support, the removable insert is another plus as I have special made inserts, and one foot needs a wide so the torin 5 is another plus.

I have wide feet and bunions. These shoes are perfect for my ugly dogs!

I use to work in a restaurant, now I work in a grocery store so non-slip is essential and I'm on my feet 10 hours a day. I had a bad plantar fasciitis flair up and did PT, specialist, orthotics, until my therapist (who's also a runner) recommended Altra. I have narrow heel, wide forefoot and high arch. The wide toe box is perfect for me. The zero drop keeps my plantar fasciitis at bay and my back and hips aligned. I would love to see a Torin with a higher stack as I'm using these for work not running. My most recent pair of Torin's have been used 5-6 days a week, walking 10-12,000 steps a day for 8 months. The tread doesn't look bad but I can tell I need a new pair by the way my back feels. I shocked when people say these shoes aren't durable as I put my through the ringer and they wear like iron. I don't love the price tag but they are worth every penny!!!

I had foot surgery and when it was time to put my regulars on they caused pain. Upon a suggestion, l bought these and voila! Had a planned trip to west coast and l was ready to go. Very comfortable and large toe box. Lifesaver.
